@Topic: I'm mad excited for this one. Amazing figure. I adore how they used different red paints, shiny and flat, to differentiate the armor from the undersuit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOoTIy3f9dA |
Just realized they haven't confirmed that new Gokai red for release yet and don't understand why it hasn't yet unless they plan to reveal the remaining members or something...? I see we're getting more Gokaiger content with the recent announcement of the special with Twokaiser so it would be great to confirm him for release?

Just how it is with Tamashii reveals
|
Trying to understand Tamashii's release strategy is an exercise in futility. Some items have an an incredibly quick turnaround and some get stuck in development hell

Oh well maybe they're saving him for next year since almost all of this year's release slots are filled up although I don't see anything releasing in November |

On the hypothetical Ultimate Revice.
Would it be a two-pack? Separate release? Or just releasing one figure with the ability to form change? https://i.imgur.com/ybx1UJy.png |
When I saw the full suit images and realised that it was the exact same suit just with different chestpieces and helmets, I immediately wondered if any figures would take advantage of that. I'm not too sure on Figuarts though because the nature of it means that you would 100% be wanting to buy two figures, so assuming it's one figure with alternate parts would they create more pre-order slots, have more runs etc?
I guess it's no point wondering now though, we'll only even get to see a prototype at Tamashii in two years :lol |
I think since its two separate characters, it would mean two separate releases. The fact that its 90% the same suit just means Tamashii saves money on tooling

Question, is anyone familiar with those SHF-like Armored Hero figures made by Degenerator Industry? I wanna know what the quality of those are like, 'cuz one of them is catching my eye. It's the Atlas one. While not a big fan of Armored Hero, I do like their designs.

Can't find the actual source for this yet so it could be fake, but we know it's happening eventually.

Nice!
|
It seems to be fake. Those look like the belt and shoulderpads from The First; and in fact the more I look at it the more it does just seem to be the original SHF of The First, right down to the boots
|
I'm tending towards fake as well, because no source I would expect to post this has it. Plus, it feels a bit early for this one, especially with the Black Sun stream coming up next week.
|
Looks like shfupgrade is doing a 1/12th scale vistamp holder and vistamps...this is nice but I'm a bit disappointed they didn't do any 1/12 scale wonder riderbooks or closed versions of them like what Espade came with

Definitely fun but the asking price is a bit much

A bit unrelated (since I couldn't find an S.I.C. thread) but, would anyone be able to take a picture of the size difference between the S.I.C. New Kamen Rider 1 (2014) and the recent S.I.C. Kamen Rider Faiz? Would be even better if you could do a size comparison with a regular McFarlane figure as well!.
Been thinking about getting some Kamen Rider for the 1/10 scale side of my collection. Might get the S.I.C. New Kamen Rider 1 (2014) and slap on a black trench coat so I can have a Shin Kamen Rider next to my McFarlane stuff. |
Zenkaiser is very good Figuarts. Good thing they brought Sentai back, this rules. Don Momotaro looks great too, I hope they keep going.

Found a listing on Mandarake for a loose SS Kabuto, 6000 yen
https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/...reco=2&lang=en "Main item only, junk items, Heavily Damage, possibility of Damage during delivery, everything shown in the image" https://img.mandarake.co.jp/webshopi...0394596216.jpg |

didn't know the SIC line was still a thing
is immediately mauled |
Black Sun is a retail release in November, orders open July 1st.
EDIT: Amazon JP will have an exclusive version with a newly printed edition of our good old friend, the display stage. https://i.imgur.com/qrNmu6l.jpg https://i.imgur.com/HLuJKKy.png https://i.imgur.com/VAk8Q7Q.jpg |
If you look closely you can see that the sword is made out of an insect leg from his chest, and the legs are removeable to complete the effect. They seem to peg in at the back.
I know we weren't promised anything else but this still feels like a bit of a disappointing stream... cool to see Black Sun in full colour but nothing particularly exciting or surprising |
Quote:
^ This so much. It was a very boring stream black is just bare bones and nothing much else to it. I turn it off halfway though when they had no other riders to show. Hopefully the next one in July will be exciting like the others we gotten. |
That's one nasty looking sword (design wise), someone in the film is gonna get their eye poked out.
|
The display stage being so big makes me think they made it that way so you can have both Black Sun and Shadowmoon fighting on it
|
It's a good looking bug-man figure, I will buy one.
I like the sword too, gives me Quelaag's Furysword-vibes. |
Black Sun has a lot of Kamen Rider Amazons vibe to it. A more serious remade take on the franchise. Shin Kamen Rider looks to be the "returning to roots" philosophy.
I wonder where Black Sun fits in with the different Rider Eras. |
He looks great, though i still wish his eye's weren't black
