I'm very happy for them to not do Live for now because it's extremely funny to me how much is getting released before what is ostensibly the secondary rider's main form? Like, compare to Blades or Vulcan or even the nonsense that went down with Cross-Z. This is hilarious to me.

Buuut I also don't want it to last too long, I do want a full lineup of all three Igarashi siblings. Easily one of my favourite trios in all of Kamen Rider :D

It comes down to them doing the Jackal form swap like Evil has. Evil's form swap is super simple, just a chest plate and helmet. Live needs a new helmet, shoulder pad and torso since he gains not just a new chest but the detail runs all the way to his back area, too.

The torso's probably the thing causing issues considering most form swaps at most only require a new front piece.

the real reason is that bandai heard everyone talk about how they liked live less then evil, and decided "fine we'll only make shf evil"

@Topic: Full info on Black Sun is out, besides accessories like hands and the sword the most interesting thing to note IMO is that this figure will feature new articulation points: Balljoints in the elbows and knees to allow for rotation.

Now, the concept is nothing new, but was executed differently before, with a swivel cut inside the double joint. This I assume is a balljoint in the socket of the joint, inside the arm/leg so using it will put no stress on the elbows/knees.

It's hardly a new concept, there are other figures in the market that do similar stuff, but I like this solution better than what they tried before.

Definitely interesting. I have to imagine the entirely black body goes some way in hiding the joints, but I wonder if they might adopt it on future figures

Both Rising Hopper and Z are under the Best Selection branding, so they come with less items then the original retail release. Best Selection Hopper omits the closed finger pointing hand; while Z comes with only 4 pairs of hands, versus the original whopping 7 pairs, and omits the beam effect

oh wow, Jackal is actually a face plate. Expected it to be a whole head but it looks quite seamless

Anyone collecting the Revice line has it great right now: Evil now in late June, Demons in July, Jeanne in August, then a short break before Revice in October

I'm getting the three siblings plus Aguilera (and Vice) myself. Undecided on if I'll go for Vail or not, guess it depends on how I'm feeling at the time. Them holding off so much on Live definitely helps though lol.

Talking of Live it's interesting to see how the Jackal form switch is done here. I think I'll be displaying Live as Jackal form a lot so it's encouraging to see it be so seamless and easy

I figured Jack Revice would be Tamashii Nations so this is a surprise. To say nothing of it being before Live lol

So I've been terribly out of the SHF loop. I'm aware of SS Black's terrible rubber shoulders but missed most of the discussion when it released. Was a fix ever found? Is it worth tracking down the figure despite this issue?

I also heard Shadowmoon has a similar issue.

Jack Revice could still be this years convention exclusive and come after Live, I don't think this means its next necessarily.

I don't think a fix was found as much as it just boils down to "be very careful while handling it", that's what I did. Weirdly enough I personally haven't heard of Shadow Moon having this problem, even though the shoulders have the same overlay.

Maybe it is because the material isn't bothered by layers of paint like on Black. Or maybe people knew what to expect from the start and handled the figure accordingly.

If it's worth tracking down - I don't know. They are beautiful figures but you always have to live with the thought that the shoulder pieces might rip or degrade eventually.

I've had Shadow Moon for a bit now and thankfully haven't had any issues. I'm definitely a little scared and wish they hadn't used this for him, but ultimately he's been very much fine

It also helps if you're not displaying them in poses that keep the rubber perpetually stretched.

You know, with the fact that we're getting a Vail-repaint of Jack Revice, and they're teasing the SHF for Jack Revice. I bet they'll release a repainted version with some minor retooling, since I can't tell if the Rolling Vistamp for Vail has any new molding.

Still funny how we're getting Jack Revice after Revice though, since Jack Revice appeared first and all.

With Don Momotaro slated for a release, I hope they release Don Murasame as a regular release and not Premium Bandai. It's just too cool of a design to be sold in limited quantities.

This is such a cool update to the classic Rider 1 design and a perfect counterpart to Zero-One himself. I only wish the Progrise key was fully detailed.

You mean on Ichi-Gata? It's just wrinkles, though the lines are kind of like a layer of concentric arcs starting from all the way down in the front of the leg to the back. (There's actually three different colours/finishes on the bodysuit itself. Gloss black, matte black, and slightly metallic grey)

But yes, he's amazing. If I had to pick one of my Zero-One figures and toss the rest, this one would stay. Great design executed perfectly in plastic form.

Yeah they're getting crazy good at this aspect. Zenkaiser's pants and boots have these sculpted wrinkles and they look fantastic.
