Personally, I think each power up should offer SOME kind of aesthetic change, too. I mentioned earlier that I feel like while T-Rex does increase Paleo's strength as a whole, his fighting style in this mode should be kick/leg based because of how leggy Tyrannosaurus Rex is. I also see him stomping down with his immense strength boost and causing cracks to form in the ground around him. Maybe just some light additional armor plating to the thigh, shins, and feet to signify a difference. Not all encompassing plate-mail, mind you. Just a few panels.

I just don't want each form to have a ton of sub powers to go alongside it.
the oversaturation of shift cars kinda ruined it for me. and we need to also give the powers their own uses that are clearly not super specific cases, IE, the water one should be just as effective without water, because they have their own properties. I'm only saying this because I hated it when ShaUTa was pretty much just "fight the giant underwater monster underwater" that and we don't want to give him so many add-ons that it would give too many to choose from, I mean, people kinda hated how Kouta never really had to use some of his earlier lockseeds once he got Kachidoki (I mean, aside from standard orange arms) |

Maybe we can make the therapod form changes gauntlets /and boots per dino. heavy gauntlets for t rex, claws for raptor, armblades for spino and magma arms for the other one similar to Super-1.
And for flight form different wings. Quads - melee weapons, Aqua- long range weapons (megalodon cannon ahoy) As for the elemental stuff, each form will have one . Magma arms, Earth hammer, Storm wings, and Water Cannon |

Hmmm I dunno. It feels like we're already on a role with this concept... Besides, there are still plenty of other angles we can approach from when designing the extra riders and villains.
ANYWHO. For Thero, I was thinking, what if: Tyranno increases strength and adds armor to the bicep and thigh. Spinosarus adds armor to the lower arms and gives him giant arm blades. Raptor increases speed and adds armor to the lower legs; claws to the feet. Carnotaurus Gives him control of fire and adds some plating to the back that glows, steams, or jets flame (or something) when he shoots fireballs or delivers a fire punch. When preforming his combined mega finisher, it equips him with ALL of the armor parts and he does a flying kick with fiery visuals of each involved dino. As he breaks through the monster, the armor shatters and he lands back in the base Thero suit. Maybe there's a cooldown period after that where he can't use any of the power-ups for a time. |
I was thinking T-Rex could give him a hard skull as well as the strong legs.

I really like Rolls idea but maybe give him Gekiranger style jets that vent excess gasses/energy to allow him to move faster and hit harder since I imagine the elemental mode will be the strongest of the modes per form
