Really like this suit. It hits a lot of aesthetic triggers that I absolutely love.

I just really hope that the rumor that Geats will be similar in character to Kabuto turns out to be fiction. I agree to another Tsukasa, but not the new Tendo.

Well, good thing I waited for more info to pop up so I could share my thoughts. That, and I needed some time to process this new Rider.

Design-wise, I like it! It reminds me of Den-O or Giffard Rex, and the mask has a sort of Yokai/Kabuki look to it which I enjoy. Do kind of wish the leak with the "nose" mad it, but I think this looks good regardless. I'm also reminded of OOO with the legs being a different color from the rest of the armor, which I guess reminds me bit of Zero-One in a way (I seem to be getting everything but Faiz in this design! Not that I can't see the influence, mind you).

I kind of like the simple look, while also kind of wishing it had some more flair, but I guess Revice hit something with the designs here. And it seems DonBrothers must have influenced (or intentional since both Revice and DonBrothers' movies are appearing together) with the Kabuki and Gears, which, I love the Driver, nothing too ridiculous, while also standing out without looking out of place.

The plot, if I'm honest, I was hoping we weren't getting a Battle Royale, though it doesn't explicitly say, I'm going to wait a bit to see how the plot will look, even though it'll probably only be the first quarter and maybe a little after, given Reiwa's track record on plotlines, unless they surprise us, in which it will depend on the show itself. But otherwise, I'm a little interested in seeing how it turns out, a "Game to save the world?" now that's not something I was expecting from a Battle Royale.

But so far, I think Geats looks interesting, in both aesthetic and design, and I'm curious to see what he brings to the table.

if the rumors are true we get 7-8 from Sept to Christmas so i expect some of them will arrive back to back like in Gaim.

i hope some of them aren't one ofs (i mean like Scissors in ryuki) or being non important/few screentime only (gridon/kurokage), but I guess with so many riders you can't focus on everyone.

I do think the suit is growing on me the more I look at it, but I really need to see it in motion and some more form combos to be sure how I feel

Tbh while I don't think I'd ask for another battle royale, I'm kind of a sucker for battle Royale plots when they do happen, so I could see myself getting invested. The "Game" wording definitely ignites some potentially biased interest from me lol

The number one thing I need to know to have any idea of if I'll actually enjoy the show however is who's writing it, with finding out who's producing and directing at a close second

I'm kinda wary about that, considering we still somehow haven't recieved any toy listings. We don't know how the leaker accessed their infomation after all. If they geniunely saw the Q1 lineup in its entirety(most likely partially, considering how literally nothing about Rider #6 has been revealed), then sure, but what if they're just fiddling around with the Driver and found 7-8 distinct Rider jingles? That wouldn't give us any idea of when they're coming.

Recent rumors say the conference is 8/3, but that personally doesn't make a lick of sense to me, unless something's running late behind the scenes.

In all seriousness, I do like the design. The orange and white look good, and the addition of the semi-glossy black armor that matches the undersuit makes the whole design very clean. I also like the molded in magatama necklace on the chest armor

The whole thing looking more tech themed than Kitsune themed is kind of a surprise, but that does make it interesting.

The only thing I'm not exactly feeling is the diagonal going down his midsection is a little too reminiscent of Build's design rules, but it's only the midsection so it's fine.

Geats looks more like a Revice secondary Rider than a main Rider.

Wasn't one of the rumors that like, they could change the tops and bottoms of their suits for different forms?

Anyways, I like him. I'm really digging the way the kitsune motif is expressed through the mask with the 'ears' like that. Kinda wish there was a little more 'kitsune' than 'cybernetic' in the design, though. My sister's spouse says that he might get a CGI tail(s), and I do think that could happen if he uses a finisher, since I don't imagine them doing that as a regular thing.
