Sorry, but I just don't see soul in the work itself. Comparing hand drawn animation to computer animation to me is like comparing a Van Gogh painting to something on Devian Art.

Let me just step right in right before we close this and say that your last sentence regarding art has nothing to do with "soul" at all. What you're thinking of is fame and notoriety. That is the difference between a Van Gogh and something on Deviantart. Regardless of what medium is used, both artists put their time and heart into their work. If they didn't, they wouldn't have let others see it or enjoy it. Same principle applies to the two mediums that you're disregarding as completely different when it comes to "soul". My sister took animation classes and learned how to do both hand drawn animation and computer animation. As I watched her work, I saw her pour her heart out into everything she did, and no matter the result, she loved it and knew she could try again if it didn't meet what was needed. Saying one thing has "soul" while another doesn't is a rather ignorant observation all because you don't like one style.

Normally some thing this would get quoted by other I get there feedback and there thought. But this time it was swept under the rung due to the recent comosion about animation.

Of course the films are gonna flow well, they're barely unchanged versions of the series with some of the minor details taken out. As for being better as a film series I completely disagree. The first two films are just a shameless cash grab (which admittedly brought the show to a wider audience, but at least some recap films try to show a hint more originality) while the third is great until that slap in the face of an ending.

I would normally stay out of this particular discussion because of what I know about storytelling, I don't know about art.
But that statement...Wow. I'm not an artist, but that was insulting.
DA is a platform to get one's art out to the masses without printing and displaying in galleries and hoping someone notices. Many incredibly talented artists use it and get the fame they deserve from it.

Also, Van Gogh's work sold more because of the name attached than the quality itself because name recognition matters.

KOk what the hell was up with that ending. I mean I loved every thing in pulle Mage madoka magica rebellion but what the hell was up with that ending spoiler if you have not seen stop reading now.

HOMURA becoming a demon why on hell is sorry but the end was bad I see why some found bad but man who the hell. Over all it was a good movie but the ending is just F'ed up.

So, that Nanoha Vivid first half.

It was a complete mess.
Too much time spent on nostalgic fanservice during the first half, leading to a rather flat new cast and a really rushed start to the tournament arc. Granted, from what I've seen the manga rolls that way, and they kind of a went for a fast adaptation, but it's still a dissapointment.

But I loved it, stupid fanboyism.

I been really enjoying it yet episode elven has not been subbed for odd reason unless anon fan sub waited for.12. Plus I read the manga so I can see they wanted to get to the next arc fast well that the same way with manga.
