Okini land said 22rd. I preordered everything on HobbyGenki except her as I was too late to pay for her.

So I just got a massive Figuarts haul. Old Kuuga Growing, Titan, Rising Mighty, Amazing Mighty, Dragon, and SS Black.

The Kuuga Figuarts aren't big surprises but they're all cool and having the full lineup of all his forms is great. The only downside was Rising Mighty which had all the red parts faded. Even the torso. So I taped him up and gave him a coat of clear red to bring it back to normal.

The real winner is, predictably, Black. This figure is absolutely gorgeous and more than ever makes me wish I had any Battle Hopper for him to ride. (come on Bandai, give us a FRS model kit of it already) The shoulders on mine are intact so I'm just going to be very delicate.

I will say Black isn't perfect. The shoulders are a little wide and the sculpt of the rubber bits taper inward making them look a little unconvincing. It's a lot of work for so little gain, especially since no other joints on this figure do it. Other than that he's more or less flawless.

I don't know if it's a sigh of relief or disappointment if something more... substantial doesn't get announced. On one hand, it would be neat to see the Wizard cast again, but on the other, I fear Haruto dying :lol Wizard as a show was kinda meh, but the cast itself was pretty fun.

In regards to the stream, somewhat what I was expecting. Extreme looks amazing but not an immediate buy from me, and Live. So, bit glad that nothing is going to make me break out the wallet save for the Wizard reissue.

YES to CycloneJoker Extreme...Live looks great and out of respect for them taking so long to reveal him I feel the need to instantly preorder...well I had plans on atleast completing the sibling trio.

And yes that Original Ichigo keeps looking better and better and that box-art is nice too. I'm crying inside because I doubt I'll be able to get him for his regular price smh

For other details and prices:-

- Wizard 10th is to get full details announced on the 31st, but right now appears to be like the other recent Seihou reissues: same specifications as the original release but with a new stage (this one with Wizard 10th's logo instead of the 50th wreath though)

- Live is 8,250 Yen and comes with the crushed-eye Evil helmet, parts for Jackal Genome and the Kong ViStamp.

- Xtreme is a whopping 11,000 Yen and comes with his Prism Bicker which detaches into the sword and shield, and the 5 gaia memories needed for that weapon's finishers -- Prism, Cyclone, Joker, Heat and Luna

Both Xtreme and Live release in February with preban pre-orders tomorrow

Dunno how it's supposed to "shit on" people who already bought it. There's no difference about it besides the circular stand and just serves as another chance for people to pick up the original release. Had it been like the Fuuto W where there's a clear paint difference and the inclusion of an additional accessory, then I understand.

Man talk about bang for your buck with all they're including with Live for that price and lol the final form tax continues with W Extreme.

I hope this project for Wizard leads to more Seihou releases in the line including Infinity Style but um Bandai I hope you haven't closed the door on the OOO line because we're missing a big obvious combo form that is Putotyra lol

Just learned of this. So, there's a third party version of Seihou W from a company called... 4th Party (lol). Probably good for anyone who missed out on W's releases since it's $40 and the vids I saw of it seemed to be pretty good in quality.

Ahh so this is the knock-off W Seihou I've seen mentioned and it looks great. Another thing I get bummed about with the W seihou line is Bandai not incorporating a parts gimmick where you can separate the body and combine them to make the other forms used such as luna/Joker, heat/joker, heat/trigger, etc. I understand that technology or idea wasn't a thing at the time early on in the Seihou line

Fairly sure most of us in this thread are collectors and are glad these SS rereleases happen with how hard to find or pricey the original releases become on the aftermarket. Makes it easier for those who missed out initially or those who got into SHF post-release to get their hands on one.

It's also been quite a while since some other lines like Kiva and ESPECIALLY Den-O so I could see them getting priority. Heck with Wizard 10th maybe we'll see Wiseman in a few months

Yeah I just hate how lately they're prioritizing releasing movie and v-cinema forms in which in OOO's case I thought Putotyra would be a possible exception because it's technically one of OOO's main combos. I know they're trying to capitalize on those forms now while their movies and specials are relevant.

Super Tatoba and Tajador Eternity were minor and unique retools and repaints so I get why they were done but I feel burakawani combo didn't need to be rushed out even if it was to coincide with them doing a Seihou of Tokugawa Yoshimune. A teaser could of been fine but after at least showing a prototype or teaser of Putotyra IMO.

Not trying to sound like a complainer but I personally feel there's no reason to drag certain things out knowing how stretched out the Kamen Rider figuarts line is these days. Especially since most lines are like 90% complete.

It me. I probably won't try to get this Wizard release as I want to be more disciplined with my remaining shelf space, but I'm happy for those who either missed out previously or joined the fandom at the wrong time.

There sure are some SS figures I would fight anyone for a rerelease of, though.

Either way I don't see how this is a negative, much less a personal affront.

Wow I'd really love to see a side by side comparison with the genuine Seihou. Maybe its just the pictures, but that figure looks a little anemic.

It doesn't hurt you in any way, it is nothing more than a chance for those who missed out to get a hard to get figure. Boo hoo, your toy you didn't even plan to sell isn't worth $200 anymore, and you may have to wait an extra month for another figure release.

This isn't a collector thing, this is a you thing. Like I like collecting figures too, but if something I spend a lot of money on gets a rerelease that makes it cheaper for other people to get, that's great. Sucks that I spent a lot of money the first time, but I'm happy for the people who get the chance to get the figure that I like a lot.

Speaking of which, I hope I can this SS Wizard rerelease for cheap, I missed out on the first time. Like I don't get why you think that this should be something that's gatekeeped.

Hell, I'd be super excited if we get more P-Bandai rereleases more often. Like damn, I wish I could get some SHFs that I missed out on before.

Good luck! I am lucky to get him relatively cheap after starting too late in collection figuarts. Hopefully they will do more reissue of those rare and pricey figuarts.
