She was originally in it, but her part got cut for time.

Still, I think Rarity belonged in this episode more than Pinkie Pie. For goodness' sake, she runs a boutique!

No, that's what the Nightmare force does. Luna wasn't feeling neglected and feared, she was feeling unappreciated, and the Nightmare force amplified her emotional distress. Luna went rogue because her unappreciation turned into jealousy towards Celestia.
She was feared by the world because she became Nightmare, not before it.

And yeah, Rarity did deserve to be in Luna Eclipsed, but she was just inconsequential to the story, where Pinkie was vital (Though, if One Bad Apple is any indicator, Rarity was the one who made Scootaloo's wolf costume).

I think we could have done without some of the Pinkie bits just to make time for Rarity to appear.

The thing is though they fail, then there's a cliffhanger. However, The Autarch of Flame did make a Riff of it as Hades from Kid Icarus Uprising.

I just watched Equestria Girls.

Aside from Tara Strong's awkwardly delivered speech at the climax, I felt that this was a really enjoyable movie. I don't see why the Mane Six-humans had to receive pony parts when they used the Elements of Harmony, but that is a minor nitpick. Also, your dancing was all kinds of awesome.

Speaking of Discord, when rewatching the Return of Harmony back when I did my top 11... or top 13 I noticed something rather interesting. The statue of Discord only begins to crack until after the fight between the CMCs... My theory, Apple Bloom Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo unleashed the spirit of chaos upon the world. :D

I thought the scene of them arguing and fighting in front of him (Causing discord), which was then followed up by the statue cracking and an evil laugh made it clear :lol
