The production of Kamen Rider is more unbelievably special and precious to them than we could ever imagine - even if we all feel it's special and precious to us, as well.

1) Does Tassel REALLY have the potential to be the next Calibur? He'd feel darn-right silly. Should Hayato join in the final battle instead?

2) Does Saber have the potential to be adapt and done right by the right people?

Gonna be a very long three weeks waiting for Saber (and Zenkaiger) to come back, I can just tell.

Hmmm interesting thought. What if Saikou Shadow is indeed his actual Rider form before he fused with the sword? It would further explain the simplistic design, since he's the first Rider.

I find it just a way for Toei/Bandai to show off the base form one more time while also in the process of selling a new toy. Is the toy unnecessary? Sure. But, if it means seeing the base form once again, I'm fine with it.

I'd make a case that it's X-Swordman or the original version of the Kin No Buki WRB. X-Swordman was formed from his story along with his enthusiasm with the comic book, so I'm assuming he got a permanent new base form for X-Swordman but he had a different X-Swordman form before it.

Kin No Buki is the only WRB with this kind of design, so I also figured Kin No Buki was his WRB for his original form, but transformed to how it looks now as a byproduct of him fusing with the sword.

Like a, Proto X-Swordman? I can see that, maybe a potential V-Cinema form too.

Well, it doesn't seem like he's actually using anything new at all. Maybe he transforms first into Saber base and then just wields Haouken separately.

Given that image is from Super Hero Senki and the movie mostly has base Saber, either something happens to where only Rekka is available and Touma has to rely on his old forms until he can access the Xross Saber.

Or something happens in the next three episodes that allows Touma to utilize base Saber again and he busts out the Xross Saber when he's ready for his final form.

I always assumed Saikou's "theoretical base form" would be the one sculpted in to the sword, which is... basically a gold-and-silver repaint of Shadow, with the X-Swordman face and a big sparkly star on the front? (Though I figure the star is just there for effect on the book and wouldn't have been part of the original form.) I can get behind that, and would for sure like to see it in a VCine or similar

I just hope that if they don't find a new candidate for Calibur in time before the show ends, perhaps the Final Stage will introduce a new yet future character to take up Kurayami.

I feel Calibur is like KR Odin in some way without a true identity. Like I know Hayato was the first, but there's no permanent user except Yuri dual wields both light & dark. Which feels unfair to me.

I get the feeling we won't have a new Calibur at this point, given we've only got about 7 episodes left and we've seen nothing of it. It's a bit of a shame given how much of the show's main triumphant goal and the big point of Xross Saber is having all 10 Swordsmen gathered; all the Riders united as one heroic force

The scene of ten Swordsmen VS big glowing purple guy in the new OP credits seems to imply that Calibur is coming back though.

I think that's more of a thematic thing (as just about anything in OPs tend to be). It's portraying the general idea of all Swordsmen as a united force against evil

Fearing the outcome, looks like Saber is gonna need a new character in the future to be the new Calibur. Final Stage or in V-Cinema.

Even if Saber gets adapted, an original character would be nice outside the original series too!

Just realized both ongeki riders from Hibiki, Ibuki and Eiki, became blue rangers in their respective sentai shows, Ryusoulger and Kyuranger.

I don't know who at Toei came up with "Hey why don't we give Rintaro the Deep Specter coat, and have him dual wield the Nagare and Deep-Slasher?", but I'm totally down for whatever other ideas they have, cause this one was great.

These specials literally feel like fanfiction made real, and I mean that in the best way.

Twokaiser's seems to be based on Timefire's V-Rex! If you look at the side of the magazine there's also a mecha that appears to be a combination of Dragon Caesar and V-Rex too!
