If we don't get a Seihou then at the very least the one we already have is pretty good -- at least, moreso than the original SHFs of Kamen Rider and Ultraman. Height on-par with them, fantastic details and proportions, good array of accessories... could certainly be a lot better, though, and I'd be down for one. I'd like to see a Seihou Gavan first though!

Has anyone bought the HAF Akaranger? Is that one any good? It looks like it is an inch or so taller than a regular SHF, so it might not blend well with a collection of SHFs.

lol, they look like early 2010s shf. Especially the legs. I just kind of liked that they made the whole team, but that price has kept me away.

Hopefully licensing the goranger figures out to HAF does not interfere with making an SHF.

Really sexy display piece (though it does actually attach to Tajador's back the same way the normal wings do). Not sure it's for me; I'm still waiting on a follow-up to Lovekov... and Jeanne weapons... and replacement Tiga elbows... and replacement Core Medals...

I didn't see it at first glance either, hence why I unboxed it. The emblems on the chest are - "misaligned" is one way to put it.

Managed to secure a 50th Rider 2 that just came in today -- very lovely figure, but one that makes me realise that going by V3 and Original Colours #1 the rest of the 7 are likely going to have wired mufflers -- so Rider 2 and Amazon's plastic mufflers are likely gonna stand out a little among them

First Tamashii Nations 2022 leaks are happening since they started preparing the venue, Geats and SS Ultraman Dyna.

Geats confirms its Boost & Magnum-form, the Magnum buckle looks fairly detailed too which is nice. Oh, and the gun is there. Didn't doubt that myself but with Tamashii you never know.

If the SHF of Geats comes in at $40 like the previous 2 main riders, it's gonna be such a good value

I honestly see the possibility of Geats taking up both retail slots if we get two slots whether it be in the form of Boost/Magnum or the entry form. I just started binging a few episodes but the remaining Riders scream Premium Bandai releases to me including Buffa despite him having a standard Raise buckle form already since the beginning. You know they got to make purple Riders exclusive lol

I would love to see Tycoon Ninja get that retail slot but I don't know if Bandai was already working on his figure ahead of time just like Geats

If Boost/Magnum is happening, that's something that screams Premium Bandai to me. I could see the second retail slot not being Tycoon Ninja but only if it's going to Buffa Zombie

Yeah I can see the two retail releases being Geats Magnum/Boost and one of Tycoon or Buffa with their Rise Buckle, no other base level forms seem worth proritising for retail.

Wonder if we'll see Entry forms at all, tbh? Maybe if Geats is like Zero-One and sells really really well?

Yeah the series just seems so unique in the sense how everyone is using each other's "designated" raise buckle and the heavy inclusion of the armed raise buckles. I eventually see each Rider keeping and using their main Raise buckle form as the series progresses

Nice to see the buckles are indeed removable, although thats been the case for years. It helps though that the Geats belt gimmicks are exponentially larger than past releases, so we should get some really nice paint apps

I'm curious how they'll handle the ID core. I don't expect it to be removable because of how ludicrously small it would be in that scale. Probably just sculpted in/painted like the Avataro Gear on the Donblaster ? I hope they at least tampo print the rider's crest

I'm gonna say the Entry forms are likely because they can reuse the mold over and over with different heads, so they'll probably take the risk on limited runs as web exclusives.

Yeah the ID core being blank is my biggest fear about this figure right now.

I'm crossing my fingers for SHF Desast, if his appearance in Outsiders gave him a chance at all.

Nah, that's too generous of Bandai. They'll obviously release the Entry Form body alongside multiple accessory packs which will be full of Rider heads and nothing else. Have to market that 'gotta-collect-em-all' mentality y'know?

We all laugh, but I watched a youtube reviewer talk about how they bought the SHFs of Japanese Comedy duo Downtown, not because he was a fan, but because he wanted their bodies, which were just a body wearing a suit jacket and dress pants.

In my heart there is an evil businessman, and this evil businessman approves of this idea of selling an entry form body with no head. The market research (one youtube video) is there!

Now if only we could sell the heads with some kind of gacha element. It would be beautiful and perfect.

My biggest takeaways: New "Old" Ichigo is noticeably larger than the original release. Wonder how it will look next to a bike

Second, theres two belts included, seemingly the main difference is to have the coat peek out from under the belt or not. It may give it more ab crunch but I can't tell

Edit: swap the belts to give the figure a higher kick

That's... really interesting. I daresay he looks FRS scale. Perhaps this is our first look at new Seihou lines having this height increase going forward? That would follow Saber and Revice; and we technically haven't seen a new Seihou Rider line debut since Saber (aside from V3, who isn't out yet)

And I am absolutely baffled by that kamen rider ichigo repaint/remodel. Looks great, but why did they put in all that effort? All I can think of is how Build Hazard form was a convention excusive and metal build was later a p-bandai release. Maybe some similar thinking is going on there, and they will be reusing this mold again.
