Well, I just think physical heavy melee weapons would be more interesting and distinguish Quadro form from the "additional plating" theme of the first form. We don't actually HAVE to give Paleo any overarching weapons. Agito just had form-unique weapons, you know. Thero form could just be quick-rough-and-rumble combat based without any weaponry aside from Spino's arm blades.
As I visualize it, Quadro form should be built like a tank anyway. It would already have enough armor as it is. On top of that, I think the dinosaurs chosen lend themselves to individual armaments super well, too. I'm sort of with Yuu on this. -Tricera: Spiked Shield. -Stego: Plated Broadsword (Like this thing, but you know. Not a beam weapon: http://www.scale-mania.it/images/Gun...cale-Mania.jpg) -Brachio: Jousting Lance. -Ankylo: Mace/Hammer that creates earthquakes. Keeping in the same format of Thero form: I have no idea how it would work or how the weapons would be designed in such a way for this to be possible, but maybe for the finisher, they all combine into a single giant weapon and he plows through the monster with it. Perhaps we can come up with a few sketches? |

I'm all for hand held weapons that just seems like a natural "Evolution" of the powers

I think having the quadropeds be body weaponry would work since most plant eating quadropeds have very defensive looking bodies.

Handheld Weapons - 3
Body/Attached Weapons - 2 We'll keep on counting votes until the end of the day. |
Honestly? I think a mixture of both would suffice. Different form=different weapon=different possibility.

So maybe Tricera - horned shield gauntlets Stego - either a 13 bladed bea- I mean broadsword or spiked armor for tackling Brachio- either a heavy boots that cause earthquakes or extending arms Anky- either a club/hammer or spiked armor for tackling |
Suggestion for the herbivore forms weapons:
Tricera: triceratops skull-like shield Brachio: a lance with stretching ability (whip-lance?) Stego: A cross between a broadsword and a saw ( kinda like kr bravo's duri noko, but bigger and just one) Ankylo: The elemental form, has a warhammer with which Paleo can create earth tremors, control rocks and have some low degree of gravity manipulation. Also, for those who want megalodon between the aquatic power change creatures, I'd like to remind that this giant shark, despite being an awesome animal, isn't from the mesozoic period ( the dinosaur era) but from the tertiary, millions of years after the last dinosaur walked on Earth. Of course, if y'all want it, I'll agree, but it's strange to think of an amber with DNA from creatures of so different epochs. |

Tricera - Horned shields that are attached to gauntlets Stego - Axes Brachio - Lance/Spear/Javelin Ankylo - Hammer/Mace that can cause earthquakes |
Aren't like three people on board with a Stego Sword? Can you explain exactly why you don't like that idea? You said you didn't think of Stegosaurus being represented with a sword Helios, but did you look at that Crossbone Gundam Full Cloth picture? I think it works rather well. I guess axes work too, but I'd just like to hear a better argument for why they'd be so much better.
Also, I just have to ask. Functionally, what is the difference between twin shields attached to gauntlets... And just normal twin shields? Seems to me like if they're separate, they'd be more versatile. If they're separate like... Actually ALL of the other Quadro form power-ups you listed, as I brought earlier, the finisher could be some kind of combined buster weapon. I think conceptually that could make some kind of awesome roleplay toy. It would also reflect Thero's finisher in some way. Different, but under the same principle. |
