Kengo Utahoshi > Takeshi Hongo/Kamen Rider 1 An anagram that makes sense in Japanese, Ke-N-Go U-Ta-Ho-Shi can be reshuffled to form Ta-Ke-Shi Ho-N-Go-U. Shun Daimonji > Hayato Ichimonji/Kamen Rider 2 The Chinese character for Shun is what makes up the Haya of Hayato, Kamen Rider 2's given name, and part of his surname is the same, specifically the monji part. Miu Kazashiro > Shiro Kazami/Kamen Rider V3 Her surname includes parts of V3's real name. Yuki Jojima > Joji Yuki/Riderman Her given name is Riderman's surname and her surname includes his given name. JK aka Kaizo Jingu > Keisuke Jin/Kamen Rider X Like Chasing said, the Kaizo of his name is a reference to the category of cyborg that X is, a kaizorg, and Jin is X's surname. Tomoko Nozama > Daisuke Yamamoto/Kamen Rider Amazon Tomoko is the only case where it is not a reference to Amazon's real name Daisuke Yamamoto, rather her surname Nozama is the word Amazon written backwards, and the Tomo of Tomoko is likely a reference to one of Amazon's known phrases, Amazon, tomodachi which means Amazon, friend. I want to see George do Kamen Rider poses as a running gag, could make for a fun easter egg hunt. |

I'm curious to see how exactly the other Kamen Rider seasons exist in Revice's canon for George to be a fan of them. Are they just a TV series, like they are for us? Will they be urban legends like they were mentioned being in Fourze? Or will Kamen Riders be a fully real thing that everyone knows about, further muddling the question of whether phase 2 Heisei was in a shared universe or not?

What I’m curious about is which Kamen Rider series is currently airing in Revice’s universe. Did the franchise get cancelled after Saber? Is it Shinobi???

The series got cancelled after Saber and George was so upset that he not only created Revice, he also secretly started and manipulated Deadmans, just so he could make Kamen Rider real. The classic "the Rider's creator is also the true villain" trope, but for a really petty reason XD
And George is filming a reality show about Revice to try and renew people's interest in Kamen Riders, and Vice's fourth wall breaks are actually directed at the in-universe audience! The moral of the series is a message directly from Toei: "Y'all better never lose interest in Kamen Rider, or else we'll make monsters and evil organizations in real life and force random people to fight for the fate of the world!" |
