Ok. Did you say "Brood" kid? As in like the alien species "Brood"? Sorry for all the questions. I've been out of the loop for years.

So they have a Brood kid running around. How the hell is this possible?! Isn't their MO to spread like a parasitic plague?
|
So... Tonight's reveal in Agents of Shield...
Holy shit. |
The Iceman thing is still stupid, and now it's gotten to uncomfortable realizations stupid.
|
this sums up my entire thoughts on the stupid Iceman thing in the first place

Also because they imply simply having repeated failed straight relationships=you're really gay. And that Old Jean and Prof. X knew what Bobby was secretly going through, and didn't support him in any way despite claiming to care for him, since he pushed himself into the armored closet out of fear. Like they aren't already targeted by giant killer robots already. |
I am gonna be afraid for Stan Lee's characters if Lee dies and Bendis then tries to have his way with changing them because Bendis wants changes.

Honestly, part of me is curious if Bendis made Iceman gay partly because of that annoying "WE NEED MORE GAY CHARACTERS! MORE GAYS MORE PROGRESSIVE! WHO CARES IF ITS TOKEN?! YOURE A HOMOPHOBE!" thing (seriously, if you want to make a gay character, cool, go ahead, nothing's stopping you. But please don't do it so tokenly. No one likes tokens. At all. Especially not actual gay people. Any minority hates tokens) and also partly because of this:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WJvh5eUn6Xs Seriously, how weird is it that Iceman was picked to be turned gay considering that clip exists? |
like, i remembher when Stan said he was super okay with new characters being X thing or Y race, he just wanted pre-established characters to stay the same, and people gave him flack for it.
like you said, if you wanna make a progressive character, go ahead and make one. the only thing I expect: make them a good character first and foremost. |

And then there's how people like that often treat detractors... |

I picked up Invincible Iron Man #1 on Wednesday.
If I had a stable source of income, I'd totally follow the series. As it stands, I'm hoping I can just get the entire first arc. |
With Uncanny 600 finally out... it was okay, I mean it was fun as usual, tons of great character moments, but with the whole Terrigen killing Mutants idea introduced in the other book, it's kind of hard to see which storyline will be followed.
Vision on the other hand is amazing! It's one of the most interesting ways they've handled his psychology so far in my opinion, simply great all around. |

He's worked for marvel at other times. He did some stuff for Deadpool corps and he's improved as an artist.
|
Invincible Iron Man 1 to 4
The Amazing Spider Man 1 to 2 And as far as a big change up as to what I normally read Spiderman 2099 number one ( I just love that new suit ) |

Again guys, he's improved. Just check out Deadpool Corps.
Like, he's not amazing but he's not cringeworthy edge like he was in the 90s and 80s. Hell, I think there's a character in there that makes fun of him in some way iirc. |

If they really want to celebrate Deadpool they should get Joe Kelly back. Probably the best writer Deadpool ever had. |

I think he would be aware of his infamy by now. |

I know USM and Avengers Assemble are meant to share an universe, but is the Guardians cartoon part of it?
The newest episode has them facing symbiotes, but I think Venom in USM is just a Doc Ock creation or something like that. It's weird. |

But the wiki treats it as part of the animated universe. So heck if I know. |

The third issue of Invincible Iron Man was hilarious. I am in love with what Bendis is doing with this book.
