Gokaiger is one of my top 3 Sentai and my very first, but I'd find it hard to go for Gokai Red because I'd want the whole team. Like, that's the big appeal to me of Gokaiger - how well-rounded and loveable they all are as a group - that I'd find it hard to go with just Marvelous.

It's also sort of the appeal of Zenkaiger to me but Zenkaizer just works perfectly well as a singular design that I'm okay with him standing in as representative of everyone. Funny how that works. Guess they were right about bringing Sentai SHF back with him!

I don't know what it is, but Twokaiser looks so much better than Gokai Red.

I think it's the shouderpads. They translate to figure form much nicer than the Gokaiger's coat patterns.

A closer look of Tamashii Nation Event, i'm kinda dissapointed with Destream while being one of my favorites suit, he doesnt look as good as the show. Geats others hand look amazing i might grab him even though i didnt like the suit

I know what you mean. I'm a sucker for black and white designs with a touch of red. The entry form of Geats really wowed me and I think I might wait for that figure. Although the early price for Geats Boost Magnum is alluring...

I think Gokai Red is not helped by the fact that they are trying to put him in a cross armed pose and his hands and stuff don?t really look right. I am not even sure how to do that correctly without some unique pieces just for the pose. I will still get it 100% and no one will stop me. (Actually a lot of people could stop me very easily, but my point is I would like one, please.)

As for Mefilas, they want people to go to the store in Akihabara and look at the figure on display. The exact English translation was ?That Mefilas is just a sample piece, but if it gets enough support, they might make a Mefilas product.? I don?t think they were trying to make a clever reference to the original show.

Remember that whole "Tamashii Nations Commemorative Product" thing they did with Realizing Hopper two years ago? Turns out Primitive Dragon is the same thing -- ie it's a normal Premium Bandai release but pre-orders are only open for 10 days. It comes with the rekka, the smaller 'knife' version for sheathing into the belt and alternate hands for holding the sword's blade.

That's both expected and unexpected of them to do for an SHF that they've been teasing for a long while. Not necessarily the worst thing, that would go to the new 'Old' Ichigo, but still plenty frustrating.

I'm hoping the relative lack of things at this event (especially Seihous) means they're gonna play catch-up alongside Geats in the next few months. Durandal, Saga, Zeronos Zero; there's a fair few things they've been showing for a while and we just haven't seen released

With the show wrapped up, I think the only reveals that blew me away was all the Geats items. Last year's shows I think had bigger hits

I would have loved to have seen more Sentai, especially more DonBros like Don Doragoku or the rest of the team (as unlikely as that would've been). I do hope that the eventual SS GokaiRed leads to more renewals of fan favorites like DekaRed or even Akarenger down the line

Biggest letdown for me was the lack of new Seihous. Golden power Kuugas look great but I'm still desperate for Ryuki/Faiz/Blade haha

Can't say much about Ultra since I don't follow that series as closely. I do think the anime side had a much stronger showing than live-action. That new Future Trunks looks absolutely gorgeous and I'm a little tempted to get the kid ver. of Naruto when it comes out

Yeah, that was a strange one for me. As a huge Kuuga fan I found it kinda lame, honestly? Maybe if they'd had an Ichijou it would have been cool, but just a very boring reveal all around. Was at least hoping for some more Agito or Den-O

Sentai, as well, like; Don Murasame is pretty cool but that's it? Guess we can't expect too much from them right now...

I just hope that, when it comes to Sentai Seihou, that they at the very least extend the line to fan favorites, rather than just limiting to Reds and maybe 6ths.

Granted, most 6ths are fan favorites anyway, but still, I can dream for seihous of a few specific suits.

I agree for the most part. His jacket color seems really inconsistent depending on which photos you're looking at, and I'm really hoping that it's purple instead of blue. He also seems to be using the new Saiyan Body's' legs that came with Superhero Gohan, which I think are actually a step down to the body that the line has been using for the last few years, especially in terms of articulation. Still plan to get it though, since Trunks is my favorite DBZ character. Definitely wanna get that 2.0 SS1 Vegeta too, since I missed out on the previous release.

My wallet is relieved that there were less reveals! A Faiz Seihou would've been a must buy especially if an Auto Vajin came out alongside.

Also interested in Danpan, Durandal, and Stronger.

I know I was hoping this would be the year of sentai SHFs. However, I like to approach all these shows like how I approach a nintendo direct video game announcement stream: expect nothing and be happy even if there’s only one thing that looks cool.

The Geats line looks fantastic and I am so impressed they decided to take on the form swap gimmick. They could have just decided not to, and I don’t think anyone would have blamed them.

I have been thinking about the rest of the zenkaiger team, and I think I would prefer their civilian forms to their ranger forms, tbh. I feel like most of them would be easier to pose and would look better (imo) in civilian form. Except Vroon who will be a blocky mess either way (opinion!).

Did the preorders already go up and sell out, was this some kind of limited first wave thing? I’m not too familiar with Hobby Genki.

This event was obviously not worthy enough for Saga.

In all honesty though, would be nice to finally see that suit in an updated Figuart form. I don't plan on buying Kiva but that suit's way too good to not be made into a Figuart.

All my ideas for how to run a business are deranged and would almost certainly bankrupt anyone who listened to me, BUT probably making an order allotment for japanese versions of these two figures is very difficult to predict. It?s two versions of the same character releasing at the same time, with the more expensive one appearing to have less stuff to it. There will be a cheaper US release as well. If you look at their store now, they still have the retail releases from revice and Kamen Rider Blades. They could just be waiting to see how they should approach this kind-of complicated Geats release.

Or it could be some other reason. I just like to guess and write long posts!

I think that makes perfect sense, Rabbitman. I know I've picked up every mainline Rider until Revice because it's my least favorite Rider design ever, even moreso than Ex-Aid; I can only wonder whether that's a common sentiment, or if Tokullectibles just over-ordered. And yeah, I imagine Geats is going to be a nightmare for orderers to predict; maybe that's why Bandai is touting the interchangeability aspect. Is this the first Rider whose "default" form wasn't shown in the initial marketing image?

I wonder if the key to understanding geats is to just watch Ex-Aid though. Those entry forms are a lot like the disgusting chibi ex-aid forms. Watch in episode 40 there will be some monster that can only be beaten by the entry form or something, just like in ex-aid.

I look forward to seeing what they do with Na-Go’s SHF. Seems to me like they should do another female rider so they can get more value out of the female torsos and legs (ok this seems like I am talking like a serial killer, but I am just trying to talk like a business man!). I also just think they should throw the male beat torso or whatever it is called into the box with Na-Go, but that’s probably also insane. Anyway this will be a fun line!

Given the writer's history (Ex-Aid/Poppy, Zero-One/Is), I'd say there's good odds of Tsumuri becoming a rider at some point.

You know, I really hope that with the reveals/teases of Zero-Two, Xross Saber, and Ultimate Revice isn't a sign that we won't get other SHFs from those series (since main Rider final forms tend to signal that line's normal end). Like, we still need/I still want:

- Zero-One: RampageVulcan (seriously how have we gotten Vulcan Lone Wolf before RampageVulcan)
- Saber: Saber Elemental Primitive Dragon, Blades King Lion Daisenki (unlikely) and Tategami Hyoujuusenki (more likely), Falchion, Solomon and Storious (very unlikely), and Saikou Shadow (more like a wish I have but am definitely not expecting), Desast (honestly if they make Falchion, they'll probably just include Desast's sword in that release)
- Revice: KR Vail, Crimson Vail, and regular Vail (the latter two being more possible since they're easy repaints/retools), Over-Demons, Juuga, and the V-Cinema forms for Live, Evil, and Demons

Definitely being paranoid about this, since we've had SHFs be revealed and released after final form teases, but still, kind of hoping that we'll still get some of these guys.

As far as Xross Saber and Ultimate Revice are concerned, they were never revealed per say. Their displays specifically asked for no photography to be taken and Xross also had a blurb how he was still a work in progress. So who knows. Mugen Damashi never got released either but the Ghost line is still dead ironically.

Anybody have any thoughts on the Soul of Chogokin Gavan. I was kind of foolishly hoping it would scale with SHFs, but it looks like it is only 100 mm tall.

So this would just be a lil guy if I were to get him and stand him next to some other SHFs, right? It?s a shame, because it?s kind of cool.
