Build Genius was also shown for, like, I wanna say 3 years until he was actually released? So I don't think this is necessarily a sign they're happening soon.

Both Geats went up on tokullectibles. Not a bad price either
Entry form https://tokullectibles.com/products/...de5ac09f&_ss=r Magnum Boost (edit: it sold out) https://tokullectibles.com/products/...de5ac09f&_ss=r |
I'm honestly convinced Amiami changed its preorder system to accommodate overseas fans.
The fact that they put releases up a day later than other retailers, changing the open window to a time that both coasts and JP can work with, re-opening preorders about a half hour or so after they close... I missed both Geats SHFs when they went up at 9pm, decided to wait around on the site a bit and refresh occasionally and then boom - Both came back in-stock and I was able to snag them without a problem. I like this new Amiami. |
I had the same experience with Shin KR, which also let me snag a Shin Evangelion. It's pretty awesome! Both Geats appear to still be up, too
|
Amiami did right by me with Don Momotaro, too. By the time I even knew I could order it, it was out everywhere, but Amiami had my back.
I did check to see if SHF Chainsaw Man was available, and that thing was gone. |

It is a very early morning time for me in Europe though, nothing going to bed a bit earlier can't fix, but the previous timeslot was better. Can't complain though, got both Geats' and Chainsaw Man which is all I wanted. |
Sorry for the double post, since I wasn’t on the hunt for this one I only realized it right now: Did AmiAmi not offer Seihou Dyna? Or did the listing vanish like the OG Ultraman one did?
Anime-Export doesn’t seem to have it either. ... I don't like this. And I will hate the day it happens with a figure I want. |
Question for you all -- given how SHF definitely don't cover every single thing anymore and it depends a lot on popularity, how far do you think they'll take the Seihou Den-O line? At first I was inclined to believe that would have a billion releases because duh, Den-O, cash cow; but I'm also thinking like... I don't think anyone cares about the movie villains? Yuuki? G Den-O? Even Gaoh I can't see many people clamoring for.
I think they'll do the rest of the Den-O forms (in particular I see Climax being retail) and New Den-O, finally release that Zeronos Zero and maybe Deneb, maybe Nega Den-O as a Tamashii Nations exclusive; but especially with how they've dragged their heels I wonder how much else they'll do. It's surprising to me also that we've never seen a Zeronos Vega Form prototype |
I feel comfortable saying Climax/Super Climax being released with a strong hope for Liner Form
Wing Form could be an exclusive |
Oh Climax and Liner are foregone conclusions. Even if Den-O wasn't mega popular they always end up doing the super forms and final forms eventually. It's strange, actually, that Climax hasn't happened yet but I guess they were waiting on Ax/Rod before going further.
Wing Form isn't as "basically confirmed" as those but I do think it's likely. Given actually it's a 'special' retool and a movie rider/form I could see it being Tamashii Nations one day |
Completely forgot about Wing Form. That would be nice to have.
I’m a bit surprised that they bothered to show Deneb next vs any of the other imagins. I would think one of the other three is more popular than him. Also that coat looked whack on that prototype figure. How do I know he is not naked under that thing? I’d like the one with all the faces. That form is cool! It can go with my zi-o trinity shf. |

Got my SHF Jack Revice today, and he's my first 'Revi' proper (haven't gotten Revi or Vice). He's a fun SHF, and he's got some great devil horn hands. Makes me a little sad that they didn't give Slash a similar devil horn hand and went with the sort of awkwardly open one.

I share your complaint about Slash?s weird not quite devil horn hand. Also it was a darn shame they did not give Vice a devil horn hand in the retail release. |

I just now noticed that Evil Trigger SHF comes with the Celebro-possessed Ultraman Z head, lol.
Ultraman Z has so many forms in SHF. Kind of wish I had bought an extra Z original form figure, so I could have this freak standing tall with the others |

That is of course assuming they don't do the remaining Imagin on their own as single releases and then bundle in Sieg with Wing Form parts. |

For those of you who have the Seihou Kamen Rider Black, how are the soft parts holding up?
|
Mine's been fine since I got him. No cracks, no signs of strain.
I like cooler environments so my room tends to lean on the cooler side year round, which I'm sure helps. I also just handle him carefully when I'm posing him and when he's displayed he's posed in a way that's not keeping the material stretched perpetually. |
Know what? I'm quite curious too; rewatching Black recently has me realising just how much I love the show and I'm finding myself potentially hungry for the Seihou. Is there anything recommended for taking care of him, avoiding any key areas?
|
I have both Black and Shadowmoon and so far both are holding up well. No cracks or splits and both have been posed plenty.
And I love Kamen Rider Black as well, so when I say they've been handled they've been handled. I keep them in a cool, dry bungalow basement however. Though they spent plenty of time on the upper floor at room temperature. (mostly at my computer desk :D) Really makes me want a Seiho RX. I'm also surprised we never got a new Battlehopper to go with Seiho Black, or at least a rerelease of the renewal version. |

Basically, carefully break the joints in when you get him. Gently work them around to get them moving so they feel less stiff, if they feel tight go the shock oil route to help them out. And then from there whenever you pose him just be sure to do it close to the elbows and knees so you don't risk joint stress. And as for the shoulder overlays, as stated don't keep him stored somewhere hot or humid, don't leave them stretched in a pose for long amounts of time and don't man-handle them too much and they'll be fine. |
Oh I hadn’t heard about that. Are they noticeably more brittle than say OOO or Tiga? I only ever had issues when swapping out forearms (which obviously wouldn’t be a factor for Black)
|
Not brittle, per say, but the construction contains enough small sections that would bear pressure during movement that if you're not careful with moving the joint, especially if it's firm enough, you can risk breakage.
IE when you're bending the elbows or knees, just hold the figure closer to the joints when you do it instead of like...bending things by holding them at the foot or hand or something. |

Ok so I have had these since they were released in the US. I?ve probably had them in the box for longer than I have had them out, but the joints all look good.
Hopefully the poses I have them in now aren?t gonna damage the shoulder uh ?flesh.? When I pulled them out of the box just now they looked good and they are a pleasure to pose too. |
If you want to pre-order the golden guy, he goes up tomorrow, December 1st.

Tartarus is up on Amiami. Got my order in without much issue. He's still available if anyone needs, but if he appears as "On Sale Soon" when you check the page, try opening it up in an incognito window. Should allow you to purchase then.
|
Got mine in as well, seems to be closed now.
|
Geats Magnum/Boost is back up on Tokullectibles.
|
|
It got a lot of support huh? :lol
I'm gonna pass though, I don't like this design. |
Given how quickly they’re announcing releases for them, thought it might be worth listing the few Tamashii Ultra reveals yet to be released…
- Joneus - Leo Mantle - Trigger Power Type - Absolute Diavlo I get the feeling we’ll be seeing some of these pretty quickly |
Okay guys, I'm gonna need some help trying to figure this out because it's mind-boggling to me. I'm not a toy collector so maybe I'm missing something only toy collectors understand.
Aftermarket prices for Saber Figuarts on Mandarake are going down (yay!) for the most part, with Dragonic Knight, Sabela, Espada and Calibur still being the more expensive ones. Dragonic Knight is understandable given its status as a (pretty cool looking) upgrade form while Sabela gets a pass for being a relatively new release and a female Rider (which, I assume, are in good demand). What boggles my mind however is Calibur and Espada. They're still in the 7000-10000 yen range. Not surprising considering that these are P-Bandai exclusives on the aftermarket, but why specifically these two?! I mean, yeah Calibur might be more popular than Jaou Dragon for some reason (I guess it's because of Jaou Dragon's awful cape?) but why Espada? That thing's almost the same figure as base Saber and Blades! Are there Kento simps in the Japanese fandom or something? So yeah, please help me guys because I'm a bit perplexed as to why Calibur and Espada (mostly Espada) seem to be higher in price on the aftermarket compared to the others. https://i.imgur.com/ogNBI02.png https://i.imgur.com/EJgcBGg.png https://i.imgur.com/8CPX1FP.png |
I'd imagine it's due to Espada being the Tertiary Rider, and as such is in higher demand.
|
Calibur because of purple Rider syndrome imo lol just like Horobi but both were pretty badass during their series. I see dragonic knight dropping in price once Primitive Dragon releases because it was the only upgrade form released for Saber for awhile that's played a part in it's price maintaining. Dragonic Knight is a badass design but so is Jaou Dragon and we seen how fast he dropped in price that is still a head scratcher.
As for Espada...maybe because of the accessories and the fact I know a lot of people favor his design out of all the Saber Riders and yeah tertiary Rider that many argued was the secondary Rider. I'm still surprised at how long they waited to reveal and confirm Primitive Dragon when they already had the mold done technically when they revealed Arabiana Night Espada |
Yeah, pretty much. Kind of a main character in Saber. Also just really good looking! Calibur is also the base form as opposed to Jaou Dragon.
I wasn't surprised to see Kenzan and Slash drop so low but Buster did shock me a little, so many people seemed to be all over him both as a character and a design |
