Here is a question about SHF Na-Go, since she is a female rider then I imagine that she’ll have a different body type then Geats, Buffa and Tycoon. So would that mean she will not be able to be part of the power swapping gimmick and she’ll have to have her own?

Made the grave mistake of checking AE today: I saw Seihou Birth up for pre-order and well... count the medals, one, two & three - pre-order locked in. I cannot resist a fantastic Birth figure like this, I just can't. Love both this suit and the character behind it too much.
So I guess I will have to live with not getting any attachments for him, or they tempt me with the full set and I'm ending up getting them all regardless. Quote:

Just watched Toyhaco's review of the Zero-Two Is version figuarts and she looks to be roughly the same height as Zero-One and proportions are smaller basically she is a female mold.
Not a fan of how the progrise key was painted but overall she looks great but I look forward to the Aruto version still. Her and Zero-One look good together but I feel the need to see Realizing Hopper displayed with her. |
I always enjoy Toyhaco’s videos. I hardly know any Japanese, but the poses he gets are cool.

I wonder if Proto Birth will end up being a Tamashii Nations exclusive. I know OOO already has two of those, but for such a minor visual difference it's difficult for me to see it being released normally. OOO 10th etc also had Proto Birth replaced by Birth X in the whole Double Birth set-up.
Then again, we DID just see the release of a suit that's getting a second version with minor differences because of Double Rider stuff... |

Figuarts ZERO is still one of the more baffling sublines of SHFs to me. Like, one of the big appeals of SHFs is their poseability to me, and making a statue line that's 'related' to it, it's just kind of weird.
Like the draw is that they're on the same scale as SHFs, right? |
I mean they're essentially scale figures and people do collect scale figures. Their One Piece and other anime-related releases tend sell fairly well.

It’s a bit disappointing there are no weapon holding hands, but it’s not as bad as the Lone Wolf Vulcan not having a weapon holding hand.

I watched to the end of the video that was linked and you can kind of jam one of the many open palm hands you get with the IS version figure into the sword/briefcase handle.
She can’t hold a gun, but she can hold a sword. For some reason I’m thinking about the end of the Django (1966) movie now. It’s only disappointing because of the many cool weapons we got with the zero one line. |
I pre-ordered 02 Izu but the hand options are the major thing making me consider getting the Aruto version when that happens and selling her. The lack of weapon is a bit of a shame but the big ones to me are the lack of 02's pose hands that the Aruto version is shown to have. Of course, it's technically fine since Izu neither used weapons or did 02's pose; but this hand motion is really cool to me. In general few of her hands seem like they can be used for 'cool' motions, or at least you have to get really creative with it

Yeah those pose hands would be much more appreciated. The figure comes with three open palm hands, when we really only need two. Why give us so much variety with those? Actually, we only need her signature pose open palm hand, and we could trade the other two ones for anything else.

Well it is a minor nitpick on my part. My main complaint would be the default hands seem a little too similar to the signature pose hands. The figure looks great, and you can always pop another hand on there, maybe even from the Aruto version, to get a weapon holding pose.
I was looking at the unhenshined Izu figure and the only other signature pose hand we would be missing is a pointing hand, but I’m sure Aruto would come with one of those. Hopefully the wrist pegs are compatible with each other’s hands. |

I can't lie, I'm being very tempted -- just the other day I was satisfied with my small SHF Ultra collection of Ultraman, Tiga and Z with Shin on pre-order... but now Mefilas is really making me question that satisfaction :lol

For a while I have been wanting them to do an Alien Barossa SHF. If Bandai is gonna start doing seijin/kaiju again, maybe we could trick them into making that? Heck, they can slap the Ultraman Z branding on it too. Include a giant fish.
Could be cool. And why are we not getting, just a boatload of Alien Zettons and many different variants? Alien Zetton in a suit, Alien Zetton in a schoolgirl outfit! (This is what happens when you appease a maniac, Bandai! We just keep demanding more!!) |
By the way, if no one else is brave enough to ask, since the red lines on the hands mean "this opens", do the ones on his feet operate the same? :eyebrow

Was wondering for a while why the reissue of SHF Zetton hadn't come out yet, at least state-side, and was going to reach out to Tokullectibles about it only to get a shipping notice for him this morning!

Also the price might start dipping a bit as well for her too but like Kurona said she'll eventually be easily available with multiple listings
