An SS of The First Ichigou feels possible because it'd synergize well with both the anniversary considering him and The Next were the first SHFs in the line as well as Shin Kamen Rider's release in Japan, both the film and the SHF.

Can easily see them put up promo shots of him, Shin Ichigou and SS First Appearance Ichigou together.

I just wish it had been announced when the Japanese one went up so I hadn't already ordered and paid for him. I want to show my support, but don't want to buy two of him now. :/

I also already secured a preorder with Tokullectibles back when the JP version went up so I gotta skip this.

I'm glad I was able to get in on Shadow Moon when he was open, but I'm hoping these become frequent and dependable enough where I can skip the JP rush and just wait for this. Right now, this is fantastic to see but I need that security and assurance before I put all my eggs into the basket from here out.

How is DHL shipping cost from amiami for a single SHF?

The last couple boxes I did with them were around 2,000 - 3,500 yen shipping. The largest bundle I did was a So-Do case and the smaller style SHF box

I just tried to order 2 SHF and the EMS shipping was 5,576 JPY. Seems a little high? Would DHL be cheaper?

It does seem high. In October I shipped a Mafex and a recent SHF for 3,299

Was that EMS or DHL?

I wish they showed a quote for all the options and let you pick.

EMS had a rate increase at the beginning of this year (2023). DHL might have too, but they don't announce it.

Edit: Oh I'm dumb, when you go to finalize the payment, it does in fact show you all the options. DHL is much cheaper at 3,493JPY.

When shipping to the US, 9 times out of 10 DHL's usually the cheapest option for fast shipping.

FedEx has been the best for me, but amiami doesn't use it.

I believe DHL usually wins out in price because they operate by volume over weight.

THIS RIGHT HERE - for fast shipping, DHL/Fed Ex is fastest, normally cheaper than EMS (at least recently,in past two years), then every other option is a crapshoot as far as waiting time is concerned.

I just shipped 6 SHF with Hobby Genki to USA for 4290 Yen 10 days ago using Fedex.

I just did 3800 DHL for 4 figures from AnimeExport, which is comparable to the last couple shipping rates I got from amiami. Incidentally, amiami just announced DHL rates would increase "an average of 5.9%"

Premium Bandai just put up a lot of lottery sales (ie members get a random chance to be able to buy the product) of certain previous SHFs -- Seihou Neo Decade, Seihou Decade Complete, Seihou Beast, Seihou Beast Mantle set, and the Last Judgement set (Amazon Omega and Alpha in blood splatter deco)

Obviously not something most people here can directly buy but it should at least mean more stock on the aftermarket

How long does amiami usually take to ship an order?

Normally I notice it?s about 3 days after receiving payment. Occasionally 5 days, longer than that, and I contact them, but that?s been a one time issue

A few days. Although payment requests have been hit or miss for me over the last year, took almost an entire week after all items were in-stock at some points. Before it was instant once the last item in the order came in stock.

But that's understandable considering what's going on in the world still.

Got my Space Sevenger. Is it a replacement for the original that I didn't get? Kinda. You get more accessories but you lose the rocket punch, battery packs, and the black parts are gunmetal colored. I'm okay with the last 2 bits but not having the rocket punch makes this release missing some of the original's personality. Most annoying part are the elbows. Since it uses disks to simulate the rubber coverings they cover how the elbows are oriented and you can't tell if they're posed the right and you either get a limited articulation or you accidentally pop the elbow off and need to put the disks back again.
