The new release is more silver than grey and the gunmetal parts were originally black.

Around 7:30 he is comparing the two figures. He says “Ashi ga guragura da ne” which translates to “the legs are unstable” then he lets go of OG sevenger and it falls over. So this is video confirmation right there. Also if I got the japanese wrong, oops! All i do is watch tokusatsu or jdramas. I don’t actually know the language.

Also my personal experience is that the OG sevenger was drunk as heck and could not stand at all. New Sevenger sobered up and got his act together. He can now hold a pose.

Oh and in addition to missing the rocket punch accessory, the new sevenger does not have the open palm splayed out hand (see the picture below). I still prefer the new version, though. I bought both and put the old one back in the box when I got the new one.

EDIT: They both feel oddly heavy too. I don’t know why the trash can like body of Sevenger needs to be so heavy, but it is what it is.

Yeah I can confirm Sevenger got some weight in its body compared to other figures his size.

Yeah, especially compared to King Joe Storage Custom, Sevenger is super heavy and the Storage King Joe is light. I was so thrown off when I took King Joe out the box. I was expecting a figure as heavy as Sevenger, but he was light and hollow feeling.

The Terraphaser!! All of Z's mechas got made of course due to its popularity, but I honestly wasn't sure if this would get made. But here it is, and it's pretty stacked! The TR Mega Buster chest cannon is a fully functional transforming part without needing replacement parts which is cool; and then it can do its telescopic arm and alternate faces with replacement parts. Also comes with the Ultra Dual Sword if you didn't want to buy Trigger Glitter!

Really excited for Terraphaser, it's one of my favorite aspects of Decker. It's just so intimidating and powerful. Love that the pendulum punch was included as its design taking cues from King Joe Storage Custom's time in Trigger and Decker's universe was one of my favorite details when the suit was first introduced.

Man how bad was Trigger that its stuff was skipped in the merch department...

Trigger has had 6 SHF releases so far: Trigger Multi type, Trigger Dark, Trigger Sky Type, Carmeara, Evil Trigger and Trigger Eternity.

Shows air far faster than Bandai has time to make figures in the SHF line.

Yeah and Ultraman series has been making a ton of money too at least according to the Bandai quarterly reports. I think the trigger merch line made them big bucks too.

Show was not good, but they made money and were probably proud of themselves.

I’m a little bit surprised Trigger Truth was not the Tamashi Event exclusive for last year. Kind of seemed like a basic repaint that would be perfect for such a thing.

Evil Trigger was great though.

Terraphaser is looking like a buy, and I'm happy that they're doing all these mecha, but I wish that there were some straight up kaiju on the way as well.

I could have sworn maybe last year or so they teased doing an SHF Melba, but I can?t find any record of it. And, obviously, they have not officially announced it.

Oh well, one can dream, I suppose? I'm still holding onto the futile hope that they will one day decide to produce SHF of that Tyrant and Alien Hipporit from that 2019 display. Pretty sure it's not going to happen, but those would be top of my list if they did.

After a long while of waiting I finally got my Original Colours #1 in the other day and he is PERFECT, oh my god. There's a couple extra hand options I would have liked and I wouldn't have minded a Shocker weapon or effect part or something, but the figure itself is as good as it gets. The unique molding to match the original suit is gorgeous, the new head with the larger eyes is wonderful, the blue is BEAUTIFUL, the belt is so eye-catching and the wired fabric muffler brings it up an even further notch with just how much expressiveness you can get out of it! That last part in particular is a really good sign for me since I intend on collecting all 7 Legendary Riders; V3, Riderman, X and Stronger ought to be real nice. Hoping they'll do a re-release of Amazon with a wired scarf...

The distribution method as said many times before is absolutely dreadful, and the resulting aftermarket tragically means it's not something I can easily recommend. But if you want this guy and you manage to get ahold of one you're in for a hell of a time. Top 5 Figuarts for me easily
