For me, personally, when I think of a Stego related weapon I think of a spiked club or mace. But when you want to use the pentagonal plates on its back as inspiration for the sword, I see it. And part of me wants to make the sword handle a bit longer so you can put a few spikes on the pommel and not interfere with his grip or swing.... just my personal opinion as a weapon designer.... I was just thinking of spike plates that go on his arms and across his shoulders.
kinda like Abarablue's spikes, but stego-plates and stuff on his back.

I can imagine him having a lot of spin moves.

If they're separate like... Actually ALL of the other Quadro form power-ups you listed, as I brought earlier, the finisher could be some kind of combined buster weapon. I think conceptually that could make some kind of awesome roleplay toy. It would also reflect Thero's finisher in some way. Different, but under the same principle.
I thought it could be a compromise because I could my gauntlet weapon and you could get your handheld weapons. A person's forearms are pretty versatile, so that shield will have the same movements as your arm. For the stegosaurus thing, the blades on its back look like axes.

I figured it would be nice if Paleo's forms used their power ups in different ways like Thero uses them to power up his own body since their is a grappling oriented form whose finisher uses all them at once to power up a single attack.

while Quadro uses them as weapons to complement it's heavy knight- like build. And his finisher combines them into a powerful weapon.

If the only basis for your suggestion is just because "they sort of look like axes," then that's exactly the kind of weak argument I was talking about. Because a sword like like THIS:

I like your idea. We could do the stego sword thing Rollout, but only if the end of the grip has a small weight with spikes to represent a stegosaurus' tail which is spiked itself.

Tbh, the Crossbone Gundam sword looks more like an ankylosaurus than a stegosaurus. No offense.
