Yeah, Birth's gimmick and motif are gashapon capsules, the little prize eggs you can find with inconsequential toys (Or, if you're in Japan, collectable toys, because they caught on like wildfire there). It's not the most spectacular gimmick, but I had not issue with it.

One thing I do like about Birth is how man-made it looks. Of all the artificial Riders, the only other one to encapsulate the feeling that "This was made by human hands" was Agito's G3 armors.

And I wouldn't worry about the OOO Driver's music. It sticks around, but it's downplayed once all the forms have premiered.

Finished Faiz 10-16. Well Kusaka is a dick so far so it's interesting with him being the secondary rider and he's clearly antagonistic towards Takumi. Hojo of Agito is in this series too as an Orphenoc and he's actually cool. His fight with Kaido was great with him just using a book. I'm looking forward to seeing how Faiz and Kaixa work together if they ever, but it seems Kusaka will be an a-hole all series long.

If anything, Kusaka just gets worse as the show goes along. Still, Kaixa as a Rider is really awesome. Love that suit and its gear.

Continuing on with OOO, Birth, while I'm still not into his design, is deffinately a more instantly likable second Rider than Accel. While it took a while to like Accel, I'm already rooting for Birth. (though his dramatic transformation is ruined by the little pop his driver makes)

Also, is that really it for the shark head lady and rhino knuckles? They never even got to see action in their complete forms, and their relationship was kind of interesting. (even after absorbing him she confessed her backwards, almost sarcastic love for him, and she seemed to genuinely care for the big lug and he obviosly was loyal to fish head)

Now it's just smarmy cat face (the cat is smarmy and deceptive? I find that offensive) and bug eyes who's easily the blandest.

Quick update since he's the reason I got into the show: Tajador is pretty cool. I kinda wish his combo song was more epic instead of trailing off at the end "TAAAA-JAAAA-DOoru..." like the guy singing it fell asleep at the end. Also, birds. That's Ankh's thing. I can't believe I didn't get that. His arm even has little wings. I thought that was just how it got around but no. He's birds.

OOO episode 30: Daaaaaamn. That sick fuck killed his own sister. With FIRE. He BURNED her to death.

Y'know, I still like this show a lot, but I'm finding Eiji to be kind of... inconsequencial of late. Come on, he's the main rider and he's basically a supporting character these last few eps. A great supporting character, but still.

I was not expecting the Fourze movie to be good.
Man, that was a cool movie. Especially the climax and the Horoscopes fight.
Also, before anyone complains at me for enjoying power spam, Fourze does it well enough for me to have fun. He's not being a smug asshole while doing so.

Also, I liked how the movie didn't skip scenes. Particularly Handing out 30 of the 40 switches, as well as activating all 40 of them, the MBUS transforming Ryusei despite not being on Earth, additionally, Gen using all 40 switches during the Horoscope fight. It could be called padding, but I loved it.

In all, this MAY all be just from watching a Kamen Rider that's not Decade, but I enjoyed the movie.

Oh, and it seems Split hit the point where OOO slows down.
I want to ask, how are you liking the rotating Medals?

You may be past the medal rotating, since PuToTyra is about to debut.
But I want to know your thoughts on the concept as a whole.

And it has a great ending, but PuToTyra gets kind of repetitive, imo.
(Granted, I watched as it aired, so events that occur over the span of, say, 4 episodes took a month to get through, so my perception of how quickly or slowly events occurred might be somewhat skewed).

I would like to point out that the finale for W set my personal bar for Kamen Rider endings, which is technically episode 48 and 49 is a bonus episode.

Current Rider shows splice in footage from currently airing movies to help promote them. Around 28 of OOO would probably be Let's Go Riders, the Kamen Rider 40th anniversary movie. It's okay, but not canon to the series.

Watched the latest four episodes of Wizard. Beast's introduction wasn't bad but I would have liked him as an ancient prince better then some schmuck who found the beast belt randomly and got cursed by the Chimera.

Episodes 20 and 21 of Wizard rose the stakes dramatically, all the characters do something, Wizard gets an upgrade, Phoenix shows some emotion and we have Not Shotaro thrown into the mix. I love that Start up of the Drago timer and how badass it is.

So I'm watching Minna de Uchuu Kita. It's really throwing everything at you from the very start. I love it. The audio seems really off though. The voiceovers vary in volume during the the fight scenes, and the belt effects don't really seem to know what to do with themselves. Still, it's mindless fun at the moment.
