I don't watch Arrow, but didn't they say season 5 wouldn't have flashbacks?

Not quite correct, Season 5 is the last season to have flashbacks relating with Oliver's back story while everyone thought he was dead at sea.

Which makes me interested in what they'll do for Season 6 of the show.

Just got done watching Justice League Dark and all in all, it was a pretty good movie, I think of out of all of DC's Animated Movie Universe films it's the best of the bunch.

John Constantine is easily the best part of the film.

After today's episode of the Flash, these five have all appeared in the Arrowverse. Does anyone else think it's about time for a CW JLA.

Hell yeah, I could totally go for a Justice League Detroit.

Anyway, tonight's Flash episode was a bit on the sappy side, but enjoyable nonetheless. Never thought I would ever see a live action version of Gypsy. That was awesome. Not to mention we finally got to see Cisco really learning how to use his abilities. I did like how bold Iris was against the dude, but seriously, why would the guy just stall? If you're going to shoot someone, do it right away. That is why every James Bond villain has failed, they would rather talk than shoot. Nice seeing Wally get the spotlight and we got some really touching moments.

The only thing I want to know is, how much longer do I have to wait until Grodd comes back? I want to see my Gorilla invasion already.

Black Flash finally appeared, but in Legends?! I doubt anyone was expecting that. I really thought they would save him for a later episode of the Flash.

Tonight was probably the best episode of Arrow this season (not counting Invasion). The action scenes and camera work were down right incredible, all of the plots worked, so far Talia doesn't suck, and we finally have the real Black Canary. I don't care if it was nothing more than a plot gimmick, I am perfectly okay with that because we have the real Black Canary in the house. I'm also curious to see if Felicity is going to leave to work with Helix, allowing Curtis to take her place. I just hope they don't mess the rest up.

The whole Black Canary BS in Arrow screams of damage control. They basically gave half of Black Canary's background and original to Laurel, and now have just thrown her out the window for another character that's named after the Golden Age one but has powers. It's hard for me to see her as the "real" Black Canary when two completely unrelated people have already taken a similar title within the course of the show.

Sigh, maybe one day I'll actually see a show do my favourite DC character justice. The closest I've got so far is Dinah's mother in the Birds of Prey TV series.

Yeah, I'm not especially sold on the Black Canary thing at all. It feels a little hamfisted.

As for what I do like, I was quite fond of the little crossover stuff this week on Flash and Arrow. I hope they do more of it. It really makes the shows feel connected outside of the event crossovers.

Like I said, I don't care if it is hamfisted, she's going to be the real Black Canary. Hell, she already has the personality of her.

Except she already feels like a knock-off because she's just taking the mantle of someone else. It doesn't do the character justice at all.

Considering how many fumbles this show has made in the last two years, it won't be anything worse.

ESPECIALLY since they could've worked the whole Earth-2 Laurel getting redeemed angle, but nope, she's still antagonistic and locked up.

That would have still been odd, but at least that wouldn't have screwed over Katie Cassidy in the process. She proved as Black Siren that she could actually pull off the attitude the character should have.

Fox dropped Berlanti's Black Lightning show, but the CW stepped in and ordered it to pilot. It looks like there may be another DC/CW entry. Now that it's not on Fox I don't imagine they will be sticking with the no crossovers thing. I kind of hope he pops up as a hero on Supergirl's Earth, providing it gets a series order, so she has another show to casually crossover with. Not that it wouldn't be easy for Cisco to just whip up an extra breach as necessary.

I agree. I love Legends, but it seemed like a good one season miniseries not a full on series. I wish all the great characters would return to their respective shows. Also I know Arrow is the glue of the Arrowverse and it's what the tv universe is named after but come on, the show can't go on forever. Keep the characters just open up he slot for new shows.

Justice League Dark - Well, at least it was better than The Killing Joke, but that ain't saying much. This movie was so generic and for featuring the super natural side of DC, rather boring. Matt Ryan is really the only thing that saved it from being a total let down. Batman was pretty much pointless and served no purpose here. Oh, and Swamp Thing was totally wasted. In fact, the movie could have done perfectly fine without him around since he didn't do jackshit. Also, am I going crazy or wasn't Ron Perlman supposed to voice him? It was cool to finally see the House of Mystery in animation, but what the hell is up with this Orchid lady? Why couldn't it have just been Abel there (or was it Cain for Mystery? I forget). Overall, it could have been worse, but it should have been a lot better. I'm going to give it a 7/10. Oh, and why the hell is this thing rated R when Constantine never even smoked a single cigarette?

It seems DC is big on pushing the super natural characters, as the aforementioned House of Mysteries is also featured in an episode of Justice League Action.

Anyway, I didn't even know JL Dark was rated R.

Bugs aside, Telltale Batman is phenomenal and quite possibly be one of the best Batman stories I've seen in a long time.

Another solid episode, but I have to say I do not know this metahuman. Of course, they didn't even give him a code name, so that didn't help matters.

Getting to see Flash phase the train was awesome. Now they need to have him do it to an airplane. :-p Yes, I'm greedy. To be perfectly honest, this episode was ending in such a positive manner that I was expecting something bad to happen to one of the characters. Anyway, the bets between who is going to win the race at the beginning of the episode was hilarious.

It just sucks that we already have another 2 week break. WTF? Why can't they just air the show for the next two weeks and then go on a break? I don't want to wait any longer for Grodd!!

I'm so excited for this movie. This just doubled the hype.

I don’t particularly hate these flicks but I don’t get why DC still insists on naming them after classic story arcs yet make sure that the movie resembles said story arcs as little as possible.

Is "fucking with fans and tricking them into believing this is a direct adaptation of a certain story" still a thing? I mean how could it when the trailer shows you that it is not the case? Might as well give these animated films unique names.

That just simply isn't Judas Contract. I wish they had done this years ago when they first announced it so it could have been accurate to the comics. At this point, the Teen Titans cartoon did a more accurate adaptation.

I love the new Nightwing suit but I wish they used it for the four previous films since he used the red suit when those were released and that they gave him the blue suit for this film since he's back in blue.

I don't know what it is, but two fantastic episodes in a row? This hasn't happened in a long time.

I really enjoyed it. The flashbacks are really coming together this season while the stuff in the current time is also well done. I loved how Felicity had to teeter on the darkside when she was talking to that one guy. My favorite line of the episode is when Oliver calls both her and John out and then John says to Felicity, "What did you do?" lol Action wasn't as good as last week's, but that's probably because there wasn't too much going on in that realm. Sucks that that reporter lady is nothing more than a cheap tramp, but that's okay, Dinah can beat the crap out of her and then take Ollie for herself. Oh, and bye bye Optimus Primal.

If by vast majority, you mean vocal minority, then yeah, you're right.
A group of 20 people agreeing with each other on the internet a vast majority does not make.

The problem with vocal minorities is that they drown out anything and everything else. Maybe Lego Batman doing better than first thought might get them to get their shit together.

I don't know. There are tons of people that feel WB's games are not worth buying when they first come out due to all of the DLC and that it is better to wait for the complete edition a year later. Even Jim Sterling talked about this last year.
