I think Marida might be one of my favorite Gundam characters now.

Built a GM III today without so much as glancing at the manual. Even with that added challenge, it was still a nice mental health build after that MG Zeta.

Mg Zeta is that bad?

I recommend the original OVA. RE:96 kinda messes up the story with the editing.

It even spoils future plot developments in the previously on and next time segments.

Well it's free so I can't complain too much.

RE 0096 pisses me off so much not just because of the sloppy editing or the spoilers in the Previoulsy or Previews. But because the original press release stated "new footage" and all we've got so is a few seconds added to fight scenes nobody would have noticed. They could have added an entire OVA episode of material to expand the story of Unicorn, maybe introduce some new subplots, new suits, e.t.c. in the 26 episode span they set up for themselves. But instead, they are just deciding to include recaps to reach that episode number artifically.

Also, they redrew Banahger's hand for no reason.

I can't be the only one that stops the video after before the next episode preview.

So I'm gonna try and have my mom watch the first 0079 movie with me tomorrow so she could get a better idea about what Gundam is when I talk about it. I'm not gonna try and make her a fan or anything, but I hope to show her into what I'm interested in.

I tried doing stuff like that with my parents doesn't work really. Instead I just show them basic clips from toku or something I'm a big fan of. When I first showed them what Gaim was and some of the various henshin the riders did, they got a kick out of that. Now they always tease me when they see a fruit in the groccery store :lol
