SHFUpgrade are bringing out an LED head for W! You can get just the Cyclone/Joker set (which includes an alternate right face piece for the Fuuto PI release's more metallic green colour) or a full set of three heads for Luna/Trigger and Heat/Metal. The way the head is set up you could also potentially make say a Luna/Joker head easily if you're into modding!

There's two modes for the LED eyes: one where they're both on, and one where the right eye only is on; to simulate Philip talking. Pretty neat!

I really don't like preordering a general release as the moment you know it, it is gone.

Let's get a dose of hopium going! It's Super Sentai, no one buys that! It's so expensive, no one wants that! Not enough accessories, come on!

To be actually optimistic, Zenkaizer got a reissue soon after release. SS Ultraman also got a reissue. I believe DonMomo also did. So Gokai Red being general can mean that if he sells well enough, he could also get a reissue.

Hope I can secure it tomorrow and not rely on reissue. Anyway, my other complain for SS Gokai Red is that it will open another Pandora box for me as there are a lot of rangers to be done down the road, and they are expensive.

Briefly felt hope that I might actually get a pre-order - but shipping and taxes to the UK more than doubles the cost.

Neither Hobby-Genki nor AmiAmi have pages up for Gokai Red but do everything else in this drop... That's concerning. I REALLY don't like this trend starting with Seihous being so limited.

Sure hope HLJ comes in clutch and I manage to actually find him/somebody somewhere shares a link before he sells out, which is probably gonna be QUICK.

And do you send them a message when you are ready to ship all your stuff? I, uh, hypothetically have a memorial geartlinger sitting in their warehouse. I?m waiting on a march order to come in stock. Do I just send them a message tell them to combine the two orders and ask for a shipping invoice?

Can you can choose what you want to ship? Like if I have 4 figures in the warehouse and I decide I only wanna ship 2 they allow that? (Sorry for the questions)

Once an item is in stock, they will message you and then you can ask them 1) to ship it alone or 2) to wait for more releases or 3) to ship together with other items in the warehouse. They will give you a quote based on what you ask.

I always ship at least 3 SHF releases together to save money, never have any problem with them. Just be patient as it will take a couple of days to reply your message.

New Preban Lab Z next week -- their reveals are related to Geats and what they revealed at the 15th Anniversary event. As before I think they're announcing Boost/Magnum and Kotaro; but I could also see them announcing Na-Go at the same time - but probably as one of those "we're announcing this now but her pre-orders go up next month" deals

Got Gokai Red from HLJ when he went up. Was worried I missed it cause the I got a server error the moment I completed the order, but a refresh had it go through.

I'm assuming Amiami probably goes the domestic lottery route for retail SS releases because they more often than not crash the site when they go up due to JP and international customers going for them? In which case the easiest work-around would be Bandai upping the production stock allocations to the retailers they deal with. Since it's literally only the SS stuff that gets different treatment in Amiami's case. Reissues don't get regulated to lotteries, but first runs do.

Sure does seem like Bandai has just drastically cut the number produced if multiple retailers are resorting to that. Demand is clearly there, I don't get it...

Hesitated too long at payment stage for Gokai Red at Hobby Genki and it sold out. lol. Also missed him everywhere else so I guess I just won't be getting a SS Gokai Red. At least I still have the original SHF along with the rest of the Gokaigers. lol. I did register for the lottery at Hobby Search so there's still a chance.
