So I decided to give Happiness Charge Precure a try. Its my experience with the franchise...


...I feel like I just watched 20 minutes of pure sugar.

Also gave Happiness Charge Precure a watch and as a fan of HeartCatch Precure, it feels like a second coming within one episode. There are so many similarities to it that it honestly makes me look forward to where they go.

Inazuma eleven episode 4, it feels like the story is being rushed. Like in episode 1 they introduced practically every character within half the episode and the case is kind of big so you can guess how fast it was. Then in the other couple of episodes they faced off with two overpowered teams and now they're practicing for a tournament.
Also what is the relevance to the ending theme? They're just talking about food.

At least it's better than Kirby's ending, that just talks about how to draw a circle.
Actually, that is pretty relevant...

New Precure? Maybe I should check it out, always wanted to give the franchise a try.

Six episodes of Madoka down and...

Madoka herself isn't even a magical girl yet? What?? It's such a short series that it really doesn't seem like they'll be able to do that much with her once she gets powers to be wroth it. It's also just so weird given she's been in the opening as once from the start.

I think I'm also starting to understand why everyone freaks out and hates Kyubey. That was some weird stuff with the soul deal. So much for a "contract" when you don't even know what the terms truly are.

Trust me, it will be worth it.

It's the complete lack of remorse for anything he does. Its what I absolutely love about the character.

It REALLY irritates me that people make out he's a villain and/or completely evil though. Its like they weren't paying attention at all.

Kyubey is sort of a Lucifer figure really. Sure, what he does may seem evil and heartless but Kyubey himself doesn't view what he's doing as morally wrong. He has some understanding as to why humans do which is why he finds the whole soul being ripped out from your body and you'll eventually die horribly or turn into a witch aspect of the contract but what he does is ultimately for the greater good of the universe. To quote Spock from Star Trek "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few... and the one."

Exactly. There's so much more to it than "oh he's the cute mascot that is actually evil" :lol

Which kind of sums up a lot of people's reaction to Madoka as a whole where they think "Oh, it's a cute show that turns out to be dark and scary where everyone dies horribly with no really point to it." Fiction is a lot more complex than good vs evil, I hope that more people come to realize that...

I'm now 9 episodes into Madoka and afraid to finish it (though I know I could tonight if I wanted to). It is good but moving at such a fast pace. I think the episode count could've easily been doubled without the show suffering.

Oh and the Sayaka stuff was messed up.

And even though I know at this point it won't be a good thing when she finally does... it does still bother me that Madoka hasn't contracted yet. Just because we've seen her magical girl form from the beginning.

That little problem will be fixed soon... very soon. ;)

After that third movie I do NOT want to see Madoka continue. Personally I thought it was an original and perfect way to close it off after the already perfectly fine ending of the series.

If they want to tell more stories in the Madoka universe, they can do so with the puella magi in the spin-off stuff. Madoka's story is as done as you can get.

That's one of the many reasons why I love Madoka Magica, everything happens for a reason...

I'm still not entirely clear on the ending, though. So Madoka became a god-like entity and altered the rules of reality, yet still decided to leave witches in place? Just remove their ability to turn into witches and instead created demons for them to fight and harvest? Yeah, alright. She also brought back all of her friends.

Except Sayaka.

Why the hell would she not give Sayaka her life back? I would've understood not messing so much that she ended up with that guy, but at least let your best friend be alive.

Just finished SAO and I loved all of it. I want to see how the second one will be when that's released and dubbed.

We decided to watch the first 5 episodes of Attack on Titan. They weren't bad, but there are some changes from the manga I do not care for. The animation is nice though, and the music to the show is down right incredible. The pacing feels a bit off though.

The latest episode of Kill la Kill. Whoa.

I figured Satsuki was going to turn on her mother eventually, but I was expecting it in a few weeks time rather than the end of the episode.

She's definitely become my favourite character in the show now.
