That is a Zi-O rider that desperately needs a figuarts and she was in that All Female Riders special?so maybe soonish I hope. Even then, Tsukuyomi?a skirt will most likely be plastic and will not be all that good as much as I would love to have a figure of her.

Poor Tsukuyomi?Bandai just doesn?t care for her.

I have not watched the show, but it looks like she will need a skirt and a cape.

She will also need to be on a slimmer female body type, so that could cause issues too. Those plastic capes get heavy!

I can see why Bandai would be scared of this figure. It can be done, and it can be done well, but it will probably be complicated, and definitely expensive.

If they do make one, I might keep an eye out for SHF Upgrade cape and skirt. Good design though!

I'm not at all sure Bandai has the confidence to do Tsukuyomi given the suit design. If they produce her in a cost-effective manner, the quality would suffer. We saw what that looks like with the Saber Figuarts. To do her right, they'd need to take a Shinkocchou Seihou approach along the line of Wizard's, and that would be expensive enough to produce that... Well, we'll see. There've been a few surprises over time, and they may eventually reach another "is there anyone we haven't done already?" point.

It happens when you raise the arms too high. A plastic strap tends to snap in half.

Question?does the broken strap hinder articulation on the arm and/or does a piece of the armor loose to where it could fall off?

From the reviews I've seen, the intact strap is actually hindering the bicep swivel. But the shoulder pad looks to be attached to a hinge

Yeah I just got my Geats yesterday and that strap piece is made of a thin hard plastic and using the bicep swivel at all puts pressure on it. I haven’t snapped mine but I have no idea why Bandai didn’t make it out of a softer, more pliable material. Makes wonder if this issue will persist on Buffa, Tycoon, and Nago.

From what I?ve seen of Japanese buyers on twitter, the strap seems to snap in the exact same place with everyone?s copy due to using the bicep swivel in any meaningful way. It?s not gonna fall off since the strap piece attach at two points on the shoulder itself (not the shoulder pad) so worse case scenario they break off completely but I haven?t seen anyone do that yet. And lastly it only looks as bad as what the post last page shows so it?s really not that big of a deal but the fact that you maybe have to break your toy to make it work right/better is really lame. I have no idea why Bandai didn?t make that piece out of a soft bendy plastic.

Well a lot of Japanese fans have been pointing this issue out, so best case scenario Bandai notices and hopefully they have enough time to fix the issue for the p-Bandai riders. If not maybeee shf upgrade can release something to fix the problem?

Aren't the pieces loose, to a degree? Would it maybe help raising the arms until the straps aren't under friction anymore and then use the swivels?

No, not on the final release. They?re tucked as close as possible to the arm and there?s no hinge for them to swivel for clearance. I have no idea what happened between the promo shots and the final release.

Oh yeah, I just looked up a review gallery. Those pieces sit way too close to the swivel, using it puts constant wear on them.

What a dumb designed decision. Or was the intention for them to have more room and it was lost in production?

Anyhow, I’m gonna be careful with mine. Knowing what to look out for helps, and as Kurona said, breakage really isn’t the end of the world with those, you would barely notice in most poses. Or not at all even.

Good luck to you when you get yours, but the odds of it snapping are pretty high. I actually just snapped mine on accident a few minutes ago and I?m not exaggerating when I say that even the slightest amount of bicep swivel is enough to make it snap (that being said once it snaps the bicep swivel works like a dream and the snap isn?t noticeable unless you?re looking for it).
My only guess as to why they didn?t space out the straps from the arm like the promo pic is because then you wouldn?t be able to put the arms up against his sides all the way, but like I said in previous posts this wouldn?t be an issue if Bandai just used soft plastics for the straps.

I still can't believe SHF Grand Zi-O walked out of the factory missing a complete mold line.

You know how Zi-O is watch themed? Well, all of the GrandZi-O SHFs have a molding error on the right side of the torso where they're missing a line.

Got Geats in today, handsome bastard. Aside from one tiny dot of red paint where it shouldn’t be QC is fine too.

No breakage yet, but I'm gonna be honest, I won't touch this one much if the straps do break easily. Which sucks because I won’t make any use of the armor swap gimmick but oh well.

Aside from Entry Geats and Buffa I probably won’t get any more figures from this line anyways.

After seeing both designs in detail Geats Boost MKII and Boost Laser has my attention because they're going look great in figuarts form...

If/When they do Boost MKII as a figuart I wonder if they'll incorporate the fox form?

I think Boost MKII will be the Tamashii Exclusive -- Hazard, Shining, Jack, kind of Primitive; for a while now they've had a thing of doing the first part of a 2-part form.

Honestly I think it'd be pretty easy to just include parts to swap between Geats Boost MKII and LaserBoost MKII. Only issue I think would be the midsection.

Bit of a convo-divergent but to call back to all the talk about how an SHF Tsukiyomi would have a skirt that would totally hinder her movement, I just got SHF Live in and he can literally sit without an issue. I think they have rider skirts figured out.

I don't understand why some people figured a basic design like Tsukuyomi would be hard when they've been doing the softer more flexible plastic on figs for awhile now.

The plastic used for the watch straps for the zi-o ohma form release would be ideal to use for her imo because it's very flexible.

I know some people trashed Jaou dragon because of the cape but I honestly feel Brave Legacy Gamer with the hard sectional plastic cape is still a bigger crime.

I thankfully replaced it with a wired cape and can really appreciate the figure more with better poses

If I'm seeing things correctly, Gomora will get another reissue in July 2023. Missed it last round, but this time I'm ready. Pre-orders open tomorrow in Japan, March 1st.

Also there's a Goku accessory set but given how these effects attach with rings it should fit most Toku figures too, albeit loosely? Could be useful.

Considering how opaque the effects are, even if you can't fit the ring connections around the limbs of other SHFs, it's nothing some sticky tack can't fix.

This will be really versatile if you're into photography.
