Yeah I like this version of Nigo. I think they should just keep going with this version instead of giving him the same helmet as New Ichigo at times because the black helmet I think is a better look.

I'm trying to find a listing of the accessories right now, but annoyingly Tamashii doesn't include it on their product pages; just the geo-blocked order pages. I'm a bit concerned from what they've shown that it only comes with one set of Fever parts and no Magnum Shooter, requiring you to buy two of this figure to recreate both Fever forms and two Magnum Boosts to recreate Magnum Fever

Really wished they could have included Tycoon's leg wrap and Buffa's cape but I suppose one extra gun is already too much for Bandai :lol

I wonder how exactly Tycoon's leg wrap thing attaches, because that's gotta be part of the actual figure, right? As opposed to an easily removeable part like a cape or scarf. I imagine it'd involve actual tooling...

It is a shame they don't include their fever accessories either way, but I guess Magnum Fever and Boost Fever for Tycoon and Buffa never technically happened...

It's actually a separate piece, since both Tycoon and Buffa were introduced to be compatible with the Entry Raise Form Figuarts!

Kinda wish they included eye pieces for Buffa and Tycoon so they can use the Boost upper body themselves.

Yeah it’s pretty apparent that the form change gimmick is really only meant to be used fully with Geats himself (aside from the entry forms of course), the only reason they were able to get away with Buffa magnum form in that stream a while back is because magnum and zombie both have orange eyes by default.

There's ones you can kinda futz, and the cool thing about this release is that there's no reason Buffa can't use alternate legs -- so this opens up a few new forms for him specifically

It’s a shame but I would have loved to have the Zombie legs for Buffa or Geats.

Since it's been his default appearance for a very solid chunk of the show, I could actually see that... I imagine it'd be more like a "Buffa Zombie/Jyamato Form" figure with Jyamato Rider parts

FWIW, one of the livestreams showed the Buffa skirt is attached to a peg on the pelvis. Not sure if it's permanent but its something

Honestly I have no doubt in my mind SHF upgrade will make a whole set of different lenses since they're all removable. If they're able to make light up heads, spare lenses shouldn't be impossible

Good point. SHF upgrade made an alternate build hazard head with multiple different eye pieces you could swap out for the different hazard forms.

Shin #2 announced!! 8250 Yen in August on Preban... and also $80 in September on Preban USA! He comes with the same set of hands and wired coat as #1, but very notably actually sports different proportions to be very accurate to the movie -- most notably he's slightly taller than #1

Bleh, I kinda wanted to see the movie first before deciding if I wanted anything. But who knows when or if it'll get a US release; probably well after order period for No. 2 closes if at all. Decisions, decisions...

As for Geats, I am hoping for somebody with Monster next. Preferably Punkjack, but including a NudjeSparrow head would definitely get me buying 2 of it.

Also in for Boost Magnum. I always try to stick to just base forms, but Magnum Boost + Entry + Boost Magnum may as well be required for Geats to get the full extent of his base abilities.

How many times am I going to have to look at OG colors Ichigo knowing it's next to impossible to get? The torture! Just a stunning figure.

The jacket on Nigou looks a lot better than Ichigo’s. It’s supposed to be leather in the movie though, right? I wonder why they chose to make a cloth jacket for the figure and compromise on the look like that.

Oh well, it’s still really neat to see a soft goods jacket with wiring and stuff in a non-seihou release. Bandai is making steps in the right direction here.

Edit: I am some kind of leather-obsessed fool! I looked up some promo pictures from the film and the jackets don’t look like leather jackets at all. I will keep my comment up as it is to preserve the L.

I'd feel like that would immediately kick up the price if it were leather instead of just cloth. Also, it's probably gonna be way easier to put a cloth jacket onto a toy than it is a leather jacket.

100%, desperately hoping it'll be one of the rare Seihou's to get a more accessible re-release at some point. Making one of the most important suits in the series near impossible to get without attending a specific event was just cruel

I too really hope they do rerelease of the recent original Ichigo and the part that hurts the most about it being an exclusive release is the fact they actually redesigned him so he's currently one of a kind and not like any of the prior Seihou versions.

Why go through the effort of that to only make it a limited release?

I mean the retail release of the 50th anniversary Ichigo sold out instantly as well and never restocked so imagine them making the new version retail.

Man. Shipping kills any savings that could be had by buying from Premium Bandai US. I have to pay more for the figure than some middleman sites (everybody keep quiet: some of them don’t charge me the tax for my state), and if I’m paying $20 shipping for two figures, I might as well be importing them… except if I imported them, I would get them faster, lol.

This is gonna make me sound like a heretic, but the best premium bandai US release was that Mastermind Rider 1, because that guy was actually hard to get from middleman sites and importing.

Also premium bandai US uses Fedex, and I have MASSIVE beef with them right now. They straight up delivered a signature required package to the wrong address and did not even bother getting the signature. They took no responsibility when I reported it too. I, uh, hold them in low regard.

I feel you on this. They don?t care about people package I had one of mine damaged by them and there rude and overpriced will never used them for anything it not worth the stress.

And if I were you I do something about getting my money back from fedex because you never got what you paid for don?t let them do that to you.

Oh I should say it was a signature required package being delivered to me. It was an “Adult Signature Required” package too. Like, you have to show an ID when you sign for it.

And they just did not deliver it to me. I don’t know who they delivered to, but it was not me. It was signed with the initials “DDR” - Delivery Driver? I’m working with the company that I bought from to get a replacement, but Fedex is trash garbage!

And don’t bother shelling out the extra bucks for signature requirement! It is meaningless!

I believe Fedex is just a collection of call center employees and delivery drivers that somehow has developed a hive-mind like consciousness, because whenever I asked to speak with a manager, they said there was no manager! Nobody is running Fedex! It runs itself and must be stopped!

It’s $10 to ship one figure. The two figures (Nigou, and Boost Magnum) come out on different months and cannot be combined into one shipment, so $20 total for shipping. If I could combine both into one shipment I would not be comlplaining as much.

I swear I shipped two figures from Japan to America for $25 recently, lol.

Even with 4000 yen shipping, the price on HobbyGenki is roughly the price of both figures on PB US before shipping, so you save $20. If you have other figures with them, you will save more.

Part of me wants to support PB US but with everything getting more and more expensive, every dollar counts.
