As someone who works closely with the shipping and fulfillment industry, I can tell you that shipping is indeed ridiculous in the US. I wouldn't even know where to begin with what I've seen. And the sad part is, it shows no sign of getting any cheaper. Rates go up every year.

Has anyone dealt with having a defective item from hobby genki? Bought a figuarts kamen rider cyclone joker and it has an issue where if I raise its leg upward it scrapes against the inside of pelvis and damages the plastic and paint. Genki is telling me that this is normal with figuarts and they can’t do anything about. I own several figuarts and non of them have this problem. The other leg of the figure does not do this. Has anyone else experienced this?

You bought the fuuto pi version? I can't say I heard anyone mention having the issue you're having but Hobby-Genki probably doesn't have spare stock to want to send you a replacement. You can try going through Bandai themselves but it might be the case of defective figure you have

You know, when they make the KR Glare SHF, I would be totally fine if they release a separate Glare2 if they go with it being Beroba after the latest episode.
|
Not gonna risk tapping on that, is that Shin Kamen Rider spoilers or something else?

Watched all 3 of those reviews and they all look great.
Vulcan Lone Wolf looks so nice and does the Ichi-gatta design justice perfectly as a figuart. Although I'm fine with waiting until he drops in price because I ultimately still want Rampage Vulcan already Primitive Dragon looks very premium aside from the skirt and Bandai having a vendetta with the ridebooks in terms of not fully painting or adding the small details. I'm a bit disappointed they didn't make it possible to open the Primitive dragon wonder ride book and that it's all one molded piece. In that case I felt they could of focused on more detailing or decal stickering or included a closed version. I have a feeling this release is gonna go up in price so I'll be trying to get one Lastly Wizard Flame Dragon/All Dragon came out great and has so much playability in terms of the accessories and many poses you can do. I love how the wired coat parts look...can't say I'm a fan of the figure being taller than the Wizard Seihou because the scale of that one was fine to me. I might wait this one out for a better price just like I am with W Cyclone Joker Extreme and hopefully neither blows up in price because shipping prices is getting up now when I factor in the total cost |

Edit: ninja'ed but I agree JusticeMagnum and hopefully it's something that sticks around for awhile but I doubt it |

It's also probably the red making the design pop more vs the black on regular Wizard that mutes everything |
Remembered I should preorder Shin Nigou last night and looking at Tokullectibles' pricing and P-Bandai US's kinda brings up an issue: Why would I pay for the latter and wait a month longer than those getting the JP release when I can pay essentially the same price on Tokullectibles plus about 5 or so bucks extra and get the JP release without the wait time?
I do want to support the official channel here, heck I have Shadow Moon and Na-Go preordered through them, but that month gap becomes apparent when compared to other outlets also offering P-Bandai stuff for around the same price after taxes and shipping. |

SHF Upgrade is making an LED head for SHF Geats, which not only have swappable eye lenses, but also makes the helmet sculpt itself more suit accurate.

The multiple eye parts are good, but I'm surprised there's not a blue one for Monster and a slightly-different orange one for a more accurate Zombie.
What interests me most though is this picture. Are they hinting at releasing Fever parts? That would be good given Boost Magnum only comes with one set. https://img.boutirapp.com/i/GDuqTsJj...9l970oohFy=slg |
New SHF Shin Kamen Rider all-Black variant.
Releases 9-2023 for 10,500 Yen. Go to MFC for pics, too lazy to post pics. |

https://p-bandai.jp/item/item-1000190801/ not shin ichigo but mastermind japan figuarts again XD |
Haha, lol. What?!
As the person who randomly brought up the other mastermind figure for no reason a few days ago in this thread, I feel proud. I feel like I predicted this. I know I did not, but please allow me to have this one. Alright, PBandai US, put it up on the store. Call my bluff! |
I can't quite put my finger on why, but I strongly dislike how that looks.

I know I would prefer them to do something with the eyes to differentiate them from all the rest of the body. Oh. Is skin visible on the back of the neck on the normal release of the figure? Man? if there is skin visible and they paint that all black too, that would be a bummer. Edit: No skin. Wait. Does this make me sound creepy? Ah dangit. Double edit CORRECTION: WE GOT SKIN, BABY! Check the picture attachment. It?s right underneath the helmet. I swear if they paint this skin the same black as the rest of the figure, I will be very disappointed |
That repaint was not worth it. And then double the price

I can't tell if I'm more shocked that they're doing this again or that it's a relatively reasonable price given what normal Shin #1 costs

Even if this was made from up cycled plastic, any savings would be countered by the other manufacturing and assembly processes. |
It’s designed by that fashion guy Mastermind. They showed a picture of him with the first Ichigo figure and the dude was wearing an all black outfit. He lives the gimmick. So it’s black because that Mastermind guy wanted it to be black.

The first pics that surfaced online after release made me feel a bit uneasy about this one, but having it in-hand quickly turned that around, Shin Kamen Rider is fantastic. The base figure is amazing and the coat looks much better than I anticipated. Perfect? Far from it. There are 1/12 soft goods that work a whole lot better than this. But still - the dynamic it brings to the figure is so nice, even in just basic poses.
I feel like people who already have him on the way don't need a recommendation, but I definitely think this is a good one to get. Maybe they'll make another version with more accessories and stuff because this one only comes with a few sets of hands, so a better package down the road could be fun. https://i.imgur.com/LWln5P7.jpg |
wow he looks very nice
