Yes, it has Rider 2's black mufflers. They don't show it off very well but it's in the picture with him

Talking of Rider #1, SHFUpgrade are releasing replacement antennae for Seihou #1/#2! Nothing different about them as far as I can tell, just if you lose the two pairs each figure comes with. Might also be useful to jump on some cheaper Mandarake listings that don't have them...

Eleking!! 9350 Yen, releases at retail in September with pre-orders to start April 6th. Features a ridiculously long tail longer than it is tall, and even has an alternate part to have it wrapped around an Ultra! (It IS an alternate part, the blog specified that; no need to worry about soft parts)

I have been waiting for them to make an SHF Eleking. It’s always been weird to me that they don’t have an Eleking in SHF given how many appearances it has had in current series. Who is next? Miklas? lol |
Awesome to see Seven and Joe rereleases. Definitely getting the former. Also super excited for Eleking, especially since it looks like his tail's back to the segmented articulation and not the wired tail approach like Golza was.

Cool to finally see Eleking as well as some good reissues.
A bit strange to me though that we still have no Seihou Ultraseven announcment. The anniversary repaint really seemed like the farewell to the mold for me, but a general re-release makes me think a new version is not that close after all. |

Slightly random thought here: how well does Shin KR scale with SS Ichigo (50th ver. specifically)?
Would it be dumb to buy the Shin Cyclone mainly to go with the latter figure? I'm still on the fence about SHF Shin KR. |

Oh, cool! Those hands do seem to otherwise be exclusive to Boost Magnum so it's nice to see them easily available. And since they're plain black they'd also work for a lot of figures, including every other Geats rider so far

That series is where it's generally accepted that SHF settled into the kind of quality and accuracy baseline it has today, even if improvements have been made since then. There's a lot more things more in need of a renewal, which I think Tamashii knows very well

Honestly with them finally getting Faiz out the way which of the remaining Heisei Riders that are in need of the seihou treatment would you guys like to see next?
Is it Ryuki's time to shine now or Blade even though their 1.0s somewhat hold up but the bad proportions they have are exposed now when looking at modern figuarts? Kabuto is definitely in need of a redo imo Fourze is just too small even though he's fun too pose with Ghost would be nice and I agree Gaim should be last in line |
For me it's a three-way between Kabuto, Ryuki, and Blade as to who should be next
Seeing the FRS versions of Blade and Ryuki already gives us an idea of what to expect proportions wise which is really what they need in terms of renewal. However I hope they consider doing the contract beasts when they do decide to do the Ryuki Riders in which I personally would like to see all 13 riders get the seihou treatment but might not happen lol My issue with the current Blade figuarts is the small head that Blade has and the small waists that stand out more on the King Form figuart |
I'm waiting on a Blade line myself, mostly because I really want a Seihou-level quality Chalice. Blade himself there's the FRS for but original figuarts Chalice isn't doing it for me anymore

Ryuki and Blade now that Faiz is coming. The Ryuki I own is my least favorite in my collection. I only got it because at the time it was the only way to get the large scale Dragreder. It is a really outdated mold and I hate looking at it haha
I feel a Gaim SS series would only be worth it if they figure out how to make the form changes. But with the work they’ve done on SS Den-O and Geats, I think they’re doing a lot of the problem solving already |
I broadly agree that there are higher priorities for a renewal than Gaim, but on the other hand the show's 10th anniversary is coming up. I reckon chances are greater than 50/50.

True, Gaim's 10th is coming up... so perhaps they'll do some of the stuff they never covered, like Mars or Idunn? Perhaps we'll get a new Gaim 10th special and whatever new Gaim form in that happens we'll get an SHF of

Just got my SHF Shin #1 in and would you believe it, I'm also a fan! The coat is a little difficult to get on and off but it does not restrict motion quite as much as you'd think; he's able to do just about anything you'd want and expect from him. It gives him such a presence

I agree and feel a renewal Gaim line should find a way to incorporate arms change but I do find the current Gaim figuarts to be too skinny looking Ryuki was my first figuart ever so I have a soft spot for him but I agree it's definitely time for an upgrade. I frown at the idea that their won't be as many accessories though. SMH I paid $60 sealed back in 2012 for a figuart that I found at a convention that came with a crap ton of accurate accessories and an articulated dragon lol. It's crazy how the thought of something like that won't be possible again |

Kinda cross-posting here, but Ultra Action Figure Alien Baltan makes a fantastic stand-in for the Figuarts if you can't afford or find that now; or are just on a budget and are interested in having an Ultra Kaiju but not interested enough to drop a good 80 dollars or so. He looks real good pared against Seihou Ultraman

Huh, that doesn't look bad at all...
Obviously more simplistic paint but the necessary articulation's there and having pincers means no worries about the hinged hand look. |
