i meant not to the degree of series whose figures hold value for a good while. And even then those figures diminish in value after a couple years. Only figures that hold value long term are select ss figures. So even if valkyrie is never ko'd, she'll probably be easily attainable at some point.

With the announcement of 20th Faiz project, it looks like we will get another SS release soon just like OOO, right?

i'm guessing the new Faiz suit will get a Figuarts.

I would like to see more photos of the new Faiz design because so far I don't like what I see. The original Faiz design imo just holds up so well that it's hard to modify it in a way that looks good.

Had to order from one of the smaller sites for my Shin Kamen Rider due to totally forgetting that preorders for it went up at a different time than SHF's usually do, and after it had been "processing" for like a month plus, I was starting to get worried they might have taken in too many orders and mine would get cancelled. Thankfully I finally got the invoice today. Can't wait to have the figure in hand. At this point it'll be right around the time I see the movie that I actually have the figure

Regarding the KO talk from a few pages ago, it looks like Kamen Rider Joker has joined the ranks and from what I can tell it looks rather high quality.

If you check that very post, i mention that joker is one of the currently released kos from this maker. I actually own it lol. And yes, it is quite good. Almost indistinguishable from the real article, aside from packaging and the belt. But a fun alternative nonetheless.

As for new releases, this maker, DT studio, just released a ko SS Fang joker. There are videos of it on YouTube already.

Definitely gonna have to check these out because until Bandai Japan decides to do reissues of Eternal, Joker, and Fang Joker I'm ok with getting 3rd party if the quality is there like you all have already mentioned.

Imo it's a win for fans either way just like the 3rd party companies that do Dragon Ball figures. It might inspire or motivate Bandai to continue to do more reissues or polls

I swear to god, I hope that with Aruto's Zero-Two being released, that doesn't mean that it's the end of the Zero-One line, because we straight up haven't gotten RampageVulcan yet for inexplicable reason. We got Vulcan Lone Wolf for whatever reason, but not the main TV show final form. Not to mention Ark-One.

Remember the Zero-Two jingle, "It's never over" ;)

They have like 3-4 more prototypes in the pipeline, it's not done yet.

We got Lone Wolf Vulcan because for a time they were prioritizing v-cinema forms to quickly get them out or announced closer to the release or a bit after. Once they confirmed Izu-Two last year I already knew it wouldn't be long before we got the Aruto version since the mold was already done

I personally don't think they're done but it does sucks not having seen a prototype yet.

As for Horobi, funnily enough I've been seeing his and Valkyrie's prices slowly come down over the past half a year or so. I've seen the latter reach around 8k yen while Horobi I've seen reach as low as 12k. I'd assume this rerelease will end up completely re-stablizing his price now.

I guess the US P-Bandai store won't be running the Horobi reprint.

I recently got Kamen Rider Jin Burning Falcon and while the figure is amazing I'm utterly baffled as to how they did the armor piece that sits right above the elbows. It's made of stiff plastic and now mine has some minor stress marks (minor in that its barely noticeable & I'm glad I caught it when I did). It's really strange to me that Bandai seems to be allergic to soft bendy plastic especially when some parts on figures really should be made of it like Jin's elbow armor, Geats's shoulder straps, and maybe giving the option of soft & stiff antennas on certain Riders.

Yeah, those pieces suck. They should've been soft plastic or, IMO, done like Eden's thigh armour where they're jointed to move out of the way. Even a simple ball joint or smartly designed swivel to let them rotate in a bit so they don't jab right into the elbow. It also limits the elbow bend as well.

It's weird what Bandai does and does not consider and obstruction. It's like how Horobi has, to the best of my knowledge, one movable neck/shoulder plate. Is this for better archery poses? It moves like a hair's width and the arm rarely manages to conflict with it given the was the actual shoulder pads are designed. Then they'll have figures with really limited joints elsewhere. They have a habit of giving female Riders borderline-useless ankles for some reason.

I took a chance on one of the listings but Idk if it'll come back as sold out since I just saw the listings. If the price drop is indeed true then is or was there some sort of unconfirmed announcement?

Yeah the listings were for unopened items so I'm hoping I'm able to secure it because it takes awhile for sold out listings to update and it was about 6 mins past the top of the hour when I noticed it. If I get an email saying it's sold out then I won't be disappointed but it was definitely a surreal moment that I kept looking to make sure I wasn't going crazy

If I had to guess, enough people now own Shin Kamen Rider and it scratches the same itch.

I was able to secure my order for new original Ichigo and indeed looks like his price has dropped on Mandarake because all new listings are showing up as 9500 yen.

Whatever the reason for the drop in price don't matter to me because I'm happy to have this Ichigo soon in my collection.

For whoever else has been holding out as well for a more reasonable price I too hope you're able to get one now

For me shipping came out to 4500 yen via DHL and into the total cost converted to $102 and some change.

I guess Ichigo's box is not a standard size because I thought shipping was around 3000 yen still for dhl from Mandarake. I haven't bought anything from them since the end of January this year which surprised me

Battle Hopper looks very nice and the alternate head makes me want to see Bandai start including alternate head or face plates that can mimic the glowing eyes effect with future Rider releases.

Might be hard to do though but I'm happy with shfupgrade and their led heads
