If they do a 30 years after in 2024 I can see Tsuruhime still opposing the idea of him fighting and him retorting with, "But that was 30 years ago, I'm no longer a kid" reasoning :lolol

So I saw Genm's God Maximum Mighty henshin and I thought that pose looked a bit familiar. So I did some poking around on the internet and realised that his henshin pose is supposed to be a reference to the Abhayamudrā, or the 'gesture of fearlessness' prominent in Eastern religions signifying reassurance of safety and divine protection. Please excuse the poor quality images.

Interestingly enough, Genm's pose is reversed and his arm outstretched rather than crossed. Whatever this means is beyond me, maybe signifying that his 'goodhood' isn't genuine or something? To be honest I'm not even sure if the pose is to reflect the Abhayamudrā due to my lack of knowledge on the mudras (ritualistic gestures) but considering the meaning behind the pose, along with Kuroto's arrogant nature and god complex, I can't help but think this isn't a coincidence.

For a second while he's holding the Gashat (just before putting it in), it's between his two palms in a praying pose as well. Just... a lot going on here

I realized that the Three Duke Orgs from Gaoranger have been influenced by 3 Buddha monkeys, but are the opposites. Shuten is the opposite of "See No Evil", with lot's of eyes on his body. Ura (regular form) is the opposite of "Hear No Evil", with his big ears, and Rasetsu is the opposite of "Speak No Evil", with mouths on his body.

Just as the Hyper Key for Ultraman Trigger Power Type is U-01, the Trigger Dark Hyper Key is 10-U.

Not me, but someone on Reddit pointed out that the symbol on the TwoSidriver is supposed to be Kamen Rider Live and Evil's helms back to back. Mind blown. I always thought it was some sort of bat-thing upside down with its wings folded.

But then someone else commented that people have been pointing that out since scans of thing dropped and if that's true then I feel like an idiot lol.

So, I'm only half-convinced I'm onto something here (although for all I know this is something everyone figured out before me), but hearing Kamen Rider Live's whole "daiji ni kimeyou ka?" catchphrase punning off Daiji's name made me think that's what his transformation jingle is doing too?

Because then you'd have Live's jingle with "Precious" in it, and Evil's with "Darkness", which is ~maybe~ in reference to Kagerou, even though that one is a bit less direct? (And a less inexplicable word choice to begin with.) But it'd make sense if the phrases were mirroring each other given their whole gimmick.

I don't know; I'd just like to think this is all deliberate because it'd honestly be a pretty cute touch.

While I haven't been watching the show because I'm on a Rider sabbatical pretty much, I do love how they are playing with the idea of duality for Live/Evil.
