CAn I just say I absolutely love the Build Strike so much now? This guy is amazing like seriously, there is lost more sticker applying like I said before but overall when you have all the weapons and his backpack complete it is just wicked.

Second best kit I've built so far. I dig this guy so much that I might actually get his MG version, that's how amazing I think this kit is.

Amazing Exia which older Exia kit is he based off from?

Exia R2 which is based on the season 1 exia.

My dad watches me build occasionally, and he was amazed by how small the FA Unicorn was despite the massive box.

The Repair II. It's the second version of Exia with minor cosmetic differences, none of those translucent joint ribbon things, and different hips that have more articulation.

The clear pieces that go over exposed GN Particle parts are actually green now too. On the old Exia they weren't colored except by a sticker.

And its sword is called the GN Sword Kai instead of GN Sword I. I'm not sure what the physical differences between the two swords are, though.

Finally got my HLJ order in, and I'm pretty excited.

Wining Gundam is done, and is was actually surprisingly really cool, it has a lot more articulation than I was expecting, I haven't done any of the Winning Road stuff since I like my Winning to be in it's SD Gundam form for now.

Stickers are a bit of pain to do, but actually makes it look good if your patience.

There's no better way to end the year than to find a piece of a gunpla that you thought you had lost forever.

Finished my 2nd Build Burning, not much to say. Super fast build since I already knew what I was doing.

I got a second one for two reasons. Build Burning is my favorite Gundam, and second I wanted one to display with his blue plasvky particle parts.

Now I need a small break before I start on my MG Sengoku Astray.

Will you build a third for the Winning Road?

That was my original plan at first when I was ordering this haul from HLJ, but went against it since I had a feeling they were going to get upgrades later on, and a MG Build Burning might happen.

Plus I really wouldn't know what to do with the extra parts of the other Winning Gundam, the core unit looks cool but meh in kit form. In show it looks cool, the blasters are to heavy and Lightning already has problem due to his backpack.

So, has anyone (not just here, I mean on the internet in general) modded a Petiteguy into a mini Acguy yet? I'd kinda like to see that.

Some progress on Sengoku, I had to take some time and apply some super glue on the Astray V fin since it's super loose, reviewers did not lie about that.

This is a really good BF MG Kit, I had some issues but the end product is great,what's really cool is that all those green clear parts are stickers decal, but you get a semi-clear green piece to go over the decal, which brings out the whole green pieces on him a lot more, his V fin is super, super loose so I had to super glue that in, but whats awesome are his chrome swords really awesome and wicked, and an awesome size.

I'm really glad I didn't go with the HG Sengoku since I heard many negative things about the kit. The MG really makes it up for it.

So quick question where do you guys build your gunpla kits? Like do you build it on a desk, table, etc? And when you do, do you play/watch shows or music when building?

Kinda curious as to how some people get in the gunpla building zone, for me I just lay down on my carpet and jam to the Build Fighter OST CD when building. Or if I feel like it's to quiet I play a couple of old episodes from BF season 1.

I build mine on my desk. I turn off and unplug my laptop and move it off of the desk so that I have room for the instructions and the parts. I listen to music as I build as it gets me nice and energized. If I decide I don't want music on I just turn on the TV and listen to some stuff.

I just build them on the same table that I display/review them on. No music, just gunpla.

I've always had a pretty big desk so I just build my kits there.

I use a drawer on my desk for cutting and the surface for placing the sprues, completed parts and instructions

First, picked up HG Sengoku Astray
Second, I listen to music when I build. Usually at a table

On my bed or kitchen table.

And I do nothing but build...for hours.

You can pretty much say I'm addicted to Gundam as of now. I bought Build Strike, and my Mom bought Deathscythe for me. Going to start on Build Strike first and save Deathscythe on my next off day from work.

The Build Strike is a fantastic kit.

I OD this last build I did lol

Which is why my Build Burning won't be built for a while - I just build the Destiny and Wing, I shouldn't go into gunpla withdrawal for a few weeks.

I heard many reviewers say that the MG Build Strike is like the best one out there, now I only wish that they made a Star Build Strike booster kit for the MG

But Build Burning is an amazing HG kit!

Sengoku is not happy he is only halfway done. Going to finish him tomorrow though and sticker Destiny some more though.

Also you have a problem Titanium.

So is Wing. It's almost on par with the 00 when it comes to articulation, and it looks great too. Not to mention that it has one of the best-looking mobile fighter/waverider/MS lying down modes I've ever seen. And it does that shield thing.

Hehe... My bad I thought there were various MG Exia kits, like they're with the HG kits.

Well, there's a trans-am one and a P-Bandai exclusive Repair II, but there almost identical. The Ignition mode at it's core isn't really different either (not to the same extent as the HG and HG RII), it just can be converted into the Repair. The downside is that it's a good bit more expensive. It's only worth it if you really like the Repair (I personally do).

EDIT: Its such a shame that the only 00 MGs are Setsuna's suits and the GN-X, I'd love to see a MG Reborns or Kyrios.

You know every time I build a MG kit, the way Bandai engineer any of the MG kits internal legs always amazes me.

Just finished my HG Sengoku Astray. Long build though I did start it at like 8 and then took a break halfway though. Definetly going to paint the swords though.

And that's my biggest disappointment with the HG sengoku... non-chrome swords.


On a side note, I got my MG Build Strike done, and wow is he an amazing kit, this thing is all sorts of awesome, and here I thought the 1/144 HG kit was great, the MG takes it to a whole new level.

They look alright with the stickers on. Plus i personally love the design he has though that design does hamper the articulation a bit

I feel ya on the articulation I own the MG version and even though he's a lot better, the way his knees are design just kinda make him look weird if you don't get it right, and shoulders pads are just big no matter which version of the kit you have :lol
