This is really nice. Do the VA's usually get flowers too when their characters bite it? If they've been playing them the whole time, although I guess most Kaijin get human forms these days.

If it's true, then we have Kamen Rider Storious, those 4 other guys he's with, and Touma being the Wonder World chosen one for 3 episodes, that's a lot to cram in.

In case of an adaptation for Saber in the US/Canada, if the primary version here fails at the end of the series, would you all be better with if Storious wasn't the main antagonist but an original villain(ess) who's based on a witch like Maleficent of Sleeping Beauty?

I've had inspiration from Merlin 1998 with Queen Mab. After Storious' defeat, she'll be fought next at the end of the series.

I say start with your idea of a Maleficent-like original characer but finish with the Storius counterpart being the mastermind/Palpatine behind it all and give said Malefecent-like character a Return of the Jedi Darth Vader redemption moment.

I believe that statement as much as I believe all the marketing calling 01 an ushering of a new era. Which is to say not at all.

But how would you explain Tassel/Viktor's counterpart finding Wonder World, plus how Storious, Legeiel & Zooous became the Megid!?

I do think Tategami's mane is very cool, though I do wonder/worry about how it may look after a few years, since it seems like it'd be a hassle to properly maintain.

I think the literal words there might be making that statement sound more direct then it's meant to be? Like, imagine if someone said Fourze was created based on the concept of earthquakes. Not exactly inaccurate; but obviously not the whole picture.

It's pretty natural all that would be on the minds of the people making Saber, and they have been mentioning stuff along those lines since the show began. For instance, the page for the first episode on Kamen Rider Web where the producer outright says that "I decide how the story ends!" is as much a summation of their determination to make the show as it is Touma's determination to save people. There's definitely plenty of things about the production that were naturally influenced by all this, too, like the heavy use of green-screen backgrounds, and I vaguely recall seeing news articles around the announcement saying stuff along the lines of the initial concept of Kamen Riders saving people who have been literally boxed off from their everyday lives is ~maybe~ taking a page from recent events.

So, Kamen Rider Saber isn't about the pandemic, but it also isn't not about it.

This is an adaptation we're talking about. Forget all those characters, all that matters is the monster suits. Just say they crawled out of a crack or something and let everything else sort themselves out (worked for My Little Pony).
