Honestly thats a good price considering that just about all PBandai exclusive Figuarts start there. Where have you seen it for 100?

A few days ago, on page 2755, Henshinmorph noticed that that the figure's Mandarake prices have suddenly and consistently dropped to 9500 yen, coming to a bit over $100 shipped to the US. More keep going up for that price daily, presumably Japanese fans deciding they don't need it and Shin Kamen Rider, but it's Mandarake, so what goes up when is unpredictable, and even if you place an order it may already be sold out in the physical store. At this point, I think I'm just going to keep watching Mandarake for another couple weeks, and if on the last day of the term I still haven't managed to get lucky with Mandarake, Ill go the ebay route

Have you considered using Buyfriend.moe? You should just be able to set up a few search terms and get an email ping as soon as it pops into stock, no need to obsessively refresh.

I have heard that the second production run of Shin Kamen Rider is hitting shelves now, and thats why the resale price is dropping. It's not as scarce anymore. You should start seeing more places stocking Shin Kamen Rider. Not sure about Old No.1 though.

Huh. Not exactly what I'd expect to be not P-Bandai. Honestly kinda annoys me that Trigger Truth of all forms is not a P-Bandai SHF, and that the other forms are.

They are still green, but a lot darker. It's accurate to the movie that way, although it is supposed to be a more weathered look; ThreeZero for example did this much better.

The darker gloves and boots indeed look weird. Definitely another way to distinguish itself from the original release. I actually thought they were gonna sell just the head, helmet, and scarf as an accessory pack, but now they've figured out way to push a whole new figure.

I get the impression that the first SHF Shin Kamen Rider was made before they knew everything about the film. IE the significance of some of his accessories and the visual identity of the suit overall (he removes his helmet a lot!) Even some of the early press shots of Ruriko are really off.

I also hope this puts us ever closer to a Hachi Augment SHF

Different paintjob, different accessories.

First release has the coat and brighter green gloves and boots. The second has darker colors and includes an unmasked headsculpt and a helmet to hold, plus a fabric muffler. No coat with that one though.

What sites do you recommend for picking up store exclusives?

Do you mean figures from the Tamashii Store in Akihabra or web shop?

For web shop I use Hobby Genki or AnimeExport. I like these because the fees are pretty minimal and I can bundle items over the span of a couple months between releases. I recommend this if you're collecting many new releases from each month.

Honestly though, many web shop figures show up on amiami pre-owned or mandaake for very good prices. It's hard to gauge sometimes how much value these will jump after release, but stuff from Zero-One to Revice all had very affordable aftermarket value

That's all I remember anyway. Tombo Ohger and Papillon Ohger are the ones I associate more with that weapon.

But man, it's tragic that the Kings Weapon doesn't get used often by the others. It's got so many forms and usages, but we rarely see the other modes besides gun, crossbow, and sickle as of late.

I appreciate the positivity. Haven't had a hunt take this long since trying to get the 50th Anniversary Edition of the Revice Driver that came with the Ichigo vistamp, but I know I'll get it one of these days. I just have to get lucky once
