I'd personally love some effects sets, but even on Mandrake you end up paying almost as much as you would for a figure for one of those sets and to me at least, that just isn't worth it.

Put me on the camp of "love effect parts but don't want to pay the prices of actual Figuarts for them".

I'd think they'd make a lot of money if they made packs of all the Ultra Act, SRC and Figuarts effect parts.

I went to a comic book shop with a friend I hadn't been to in a while and saw they had the S.H. Figuarts Sailor Moon, a couple Masked Riders, and from the S.H.Monsterarts line...Fire Rodan, Destroyah, and...King Ghidorah. I tell you...both me and my friend were tempted by that big monster.

I love effects parts so I'll pick up a set of the impact pieces. I can probably use it in tandem with the giant hand from the Wizard effects part set (whenever I get around to picking that up).

So I finally opened my Armored MMPR Red Ranger from BBTS and immediately noticed the "shoulder-plates" as I call them are loose, like if I took his arm off that the little pieces would fall right off. They move on their own based on gravity and not the position of the arm, and it kind of disappointed me.

Also, his belt is incredibly loose, dangles and moves around like its nobody's business, though Green Ranger and regular Red Ranger don't even appear to have moving belts.

Weird.

So...I'm wondering if maybe Ptera Ranger (MMPR Pink Ranger) got delayed in Japan. Usually they have reviews up pretty quick upon a new figure's release.

Dude, patience. We know you're excited for the Zyuranger/MMPR stuff, but when it comes to full teams the thing to remember is that it takes time. We'll see pictorial reviews when we see them.

Picked up Hurricane Red today and I REALLY like him except for one issue; Both of his shoulder joints are extremely tight and squeak loudly. What's worse is that it's the ball-shaped shoulder hinge joint where getting shock oil into is borderline impossible.

She hasn't even officially shipped from Tamashii Web yet. It'll be in the next week or so.

Is there a tentative release date/price set for those effect sets? I'm kind of keen on those. :D

I thought TWE most always shipped in the last week of the month? So she will ship next week. Hopefully thursday...
