Watched Tomb Raider 2018 this week.

While a relaunch movie it could take place before the first Tomb
Raider as Lara was in her 20s in the new movie.

She had met her dad in this movie and lost him.

I think I'm over the whole collector thing. Looking back, I think I was hitting it the hardest during the pandemic years when I had more cash to burn and little else to do. For a number of reasons, it's not really that rewarding anymore

Looking through my remaining POs, most of it is already paid for or not terribly expensive. No regrets, it's a ton of stuff I wanted and don't mind keeping. But yea, it's not really fun anymore. I do have plans to make some displays for the stuff I own now, but that's kinda a long ways away

I dropped trying to collect a few years back, and I think it's much better. I'm only getting the things I really want, and not having this looming feeling of "You're missing X and Y!" is just nice.

My fomo is strong atm. I hope one day I can feel less bad missing transformers (and to a lesser extent warhammer). Seriously shit is rough.

I know that feeling. There have still been a couple figures I was iffy on and pulled the trigger just because I didn't want to miss out.
But lately it's been nice to be able to walk down the Transformers aisle, see 5 new figures I don't have...And just leave without them.

I'm not iron willed, but it's just good to reel things back now.

New movies are 20 bucks so while they drop in price I've been catching up
some of the previous movies missed.

Some of them I'd seen in the VHS days.

I'm not into the whole collecting thing.

I watched a few movies on disk during the pandemic but that was it.

I play main line games on PS 2 mostly.

I think additionally, I either got most of the stuff I wanted, or other things I would like haven't been made yet. So there isn't that much of a drive to seek out other items I passed on the first time around

Ah yes, collectors burnout. I know how that feels.

I've stopped collecting Transformers, which has been great for me as I get the same enjoyment from watching people transform the toys on YouTube as I do actually transforming them.

I have preordered the Studio Series Gamer Edition WFC Megatron though for nostalgia purposes as the WFC games was a big part of my childhood. I have the WFC Optimus, and it's a fun toy. But other than those two, not gonna collect the rest of the line because I already have too much stuff.

I would say just collect the things you want, but that's another rabbit hole. Don't worry, you're not missing much if you decide to stop collecting.

The only real thing on my 'collection list' now is the Saber Figuarts as they're my favorite designs in Kamen Rider. I don't actually own a single Figuart yet.

I was worrying about trying to get the Legend ShuGods for King Ohger, but as more and more combinations are revealed, I'm finding myself less inclined and concerned about tracking them down as I find myself satisfied with King Ohger alone.

Found out right before I went to bed last night that Nano is going to be at a convention I'm attending in August. I'm so totally hyped!
