Already mentioned on TFW2005 board how it's kind of disappointing the box won't match up with the other Zyuranger releases, but I'm getting the feeling maybe all future sentai releases are going to be like this. Mammoth Ranger probably will.

The figure looks great though. I love seeing a team fill out even if it's slow to do so.

Actually I'm sure the windowless packaging will be mainly TWE-oriented. Will probably vary from series to series. For all we know Kibaranger and the other Zyurangers will be windowless while the Kyoryuger and Hurricanger releases won't be.

Also MMPR will be with window

Ordering Bluefin items is actually way more expensive for some international buyers (like me) then just getting them from sites like Nippon Yasan, HEJ and Mandarake when it comes to Web Exclusives and double that if they're general release. I remember because I was going to buy a MMPR Red Ranger to get signed by Rocky, but after searching around I discovered after shipping it would cost about $20 more then me just buying another Tyrannoranger after shipping, so I decided against it.

The removed accessories are annoying, but not really a huge deal. Chances are very few were planning on posing her with the Ranger Sword, which is really the most notable missing accessory. The stinginess of the situation is more annoying then actually not getting heaps of accessories that will barely be used. I think anyone planning on getting Pteraranger will still get her, it just leaves a bad taste in the mouth, because really there's no good reason for them not to be there rather then cost cutting.

Not as bad as White Ranger but I did expect Pink to come with more, mainly the other forms of the Blade Blaster and the individual white gun. I wonder if the others will be shorted on those.

I guess, but its still not really a figure with a standout accessory count.

I'm a bit late to the conversation but here's my two cents.

Do I really care that Pterra Ranger lacks the Ranger Stick in gun mode or parts for the Howling Cannon. No. Mainly because what's the likely hood of me ever displaying the 5 main Zyurangers using their sticks in one mode or another all simultaneously. Basically zero. I've got one thanks to Tyranno and frankly that's all I need, otherwise they can just stay holstered.

Could they still be included with other figures? Sure. Think about it like this. Pterra required an extra accessory, that being an arrow for her bow. So something else had to be removed. The ranger stick. Everybody shouldn't be freaking out considering this is NOT the first time this has happened either. Gaoki Yellow's second wired saber was included with Gokai Pink. This isn't new.

The howling cannon parts have been stated to be included with the other figures for both the Japanese and US releases. So again, why the complaints? It's not like you aren't getting them, you just aren't getting them right now.

And as for the box? Tyranno & Dragon have open windows, but they were mass retail releases. The new trend of most Tamashii Web exclusive boxes is that they don't need window packaging because they're online only items. You don't need a window when there's no store to look at them in. By the time Zyuranger is said and done only 2 of the 6 will have window boxes anyway. And while I harp about JP packaging being better than the US packaging the only thing I'm really going to do is line the spines of my boxes up in my closet shelf so I can get into them for parts more easily. So no harm in my opinion.
