Zyuohger episode 1.

Not a bad to the show at all. Although i really don't like the look of the zords or the mecha. The mecha just kind of looks like the one from Go onger/RPM. But other than that small complaint good stuff.

I finally finished Magiranger.

This is the first Sentai I've had glaring issues with.

Gosh, that was just not good. It had it's moments that made me have hope, but the ending arc was just not done well, and it was kinda cliche I guess. Plus I felt the first half was repetitive, and the second half wasn't done to it's potential. Plus I didn't like most of the characters and felt they rehashed some Dekaranger personalities and kinda failed, ranger or villain, Kai Ozu is the WORST Red Ranger I've seen, it got too silly and wrapped up in nonsense for it's own sake, and it just didn't do anything to challenge the norm or take risks that benefited it. Also, worst ending song ever.

Positives were Urara and Hikaru were great characters and on my favorite color lists and it had good moments and family things. The world building wasn't too bad either and the opening's pretty damn good.

On another note: Seeing the Boukenger previews at the end were my favorite part lmao, that was the first Sentai exposure to episodes back in 2006 when it was out and it gets me so nostalgic man, it's still one of my favorite Sentai to this day. Man, I miss those days.

Be honest, is any of it objectively worse than what Takeru and Alain are wearing on Ghost right now?

I didn't even make it to the second half, dropping the series after 10 episodes :lol

Ultimately, it is the HP Lovecraft stuff that saves the show for me. The Infershia Gods were an awesome idea too, but yeah, the ranger aspect kind of sucked. I also didn't like how they spent more time on CGI rather than fight choreography.

Don't know, I dropped Ghost after 2 episodes like a turd. I just can't bring myself to even bother with it or with finishing Drive (which at this point, I might as well just start over if I do decide to finish it).

I'm almost done with Jetman (2 episodes left) and I'm in the episode 35-45 range with Carranger, Zyuranger, and Gingaman. Not sure which of those I'll finish first. I've been really derailed in my Super Sentai watching in recent weeks thanks to video games. Mostly Bravely Second, Fire Emblem: Fates (Conquest & Revelations), and Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel.

I watched teh second disc to Kakuranger today. Except for the food episode, this was all great stuff.
