The Laserboost release is tempting for me because both suits are fantastic and had a good number of awesome moments in the show, and I enjoy getting a 2-in-1 set here, but - I just like Geats 9 much better. So I will wait for that one.
And even if it is expensive because final form suit details, at least I will have like 5 years to save up for it. I'm gonna set aside 0,065 cents a day. Then again... should I get Laserboost so I have something to play with while I wait :eyebrow |
Just realized they got the card color on Ziin's head wrong, should be black

Yeah that was bothering me a lot so have been scouring photos lol.
Thinks it's more like SHF Ziin is a rather light and VERY reflective silver, so in the harsh lights used for the photo shoot appears white. Can see the silver coming through in some and much more clearly in the livestream reveal. I initially thought it was white from the main photo shared on social media, which screamed something was way off haha. But he should be a much darker gunmetal. Still metallic, so not wholly off there, but way darker than they've presented. Do hope that gets fixed. |

Definitely getting Mark-II, Zinn I?m not so sure?maybe later. |
I’m surprised Boost mk II & Laser Boost are one set but it’s certainly welcome (I figured Boost mk II would be an event exclusive & Laser Boost would be a regular exclusive given recent trends) pulse Ziin looks nice. I’m definitely getting both.

Nice, loving how they're playing no games with these consistent Geats announcements. Happy they decided to make MK-II and laser boost one release as well and was a great idea.
At the rate they're going we could possibly have Tycoon Bujiin Sword confirmed for release |

While I welcome Mark-II with Laserboots parts I’m not really surprised that Command Unit was skipped over. I would like to see how that gets a release, like will we get two different figures for Jet Mode with Geats Head and Canon Mode with Tycoon Head?
|
I mean if they do decide to do command form then they might as well include a Buffa head as well since he used the form too.

Your petty tricks won't work on me, sharpster! |
I imagine if they did do Command Twin they'll probably split it up into 2 releases: Jet form for Geats & Connon form for Tycoon (probably throw in the Buffa parts with Geats since he only ever used Jet Form). Aside from that there really isn't much else to make in the Geats line, I can see them doing Seeker just to round out the form change gimmick, ain't no way we're getting the other laser guys (at most we might get Glare 2 Beroba), and I don't see us getting the extra DGP Riders at all (maybe if they release a special entry body set that comes with a bunch of heads but otherwise nah).
Outside of those it's really just final form stuff which makes me think: Will Geats be the first Rider in forever (I think since Gaim or Drive) to have their final form release in a somewhat quick fashion? |

Actually I think they repainted Ziin's costume later on 'cuz in these pictures from the books (I forget their name exactly, but you know, it's the ones that have a bunch of shots of the suits which are more final), it's a more gunmetal gray. And I think the reason why it appears even lighter than it should is just a matter of the lighting making it even shinier, though it does admittedly look a little more silver than gunmetal gray.
As for the SHFs themselves, oh boy, those are pretty good. I was hoping that they would make Boost MKII and LaserBoost a single figure with swappable parts, but I'm still surprised. Definitely nice. Sad we're skipping Command Twin, but I feel like that would be a pretty extensive one, since we'd need parts for both modes. Easily could just go with two figures, one being Geats and one being Tycoon, either of them having the head for Buffa since he had one, but also a belt for Buffa. |

I can see Premium Beroba + Kekera getting releases. It's rare that we get any monsters in the SHF Kamen Rider line, but Kekera and especially Beroba are fairly important antagonists and outside of Glare 2 for Beroba, it's a good option for representing them in the line. I also would not rule out Nadge-Sparrow since he appeared in the show relatively early on and is still active in the plot as of now, even if his actual Rider form has basically been retired. Since Punkjack already comes with Monster form, he can just be in his entry form and to make him extra enticing, you could indeed include some alternate heads + belts for other Riders (hell, DaPaan would just be a repaint of Punkjack so that's an easy throw-in). I think it was mentioned that Nago doesn't have the removable armor bits, which is unfortunate because Kamen Rider Lopo would be a great opportunity to have female Boost/Zombie/Entry form armor parts while also putting out a fan-favorite "extra" Rider from the show |
Look like Mark-II and Ziin are both sold out on Hobby Genki? What?s the next best option to get them? Or will Hobby Genki generally get more stocks later?

earth garon in stock on genki but the add to cart button doesn’t work for me

Can you still order Boost Mark-II and Ziin from P-Bandai to ship to the US?
|
Quote:
These two are available now on the US PB site, releases one month after Japan. They also come out the same month so saving on shipping is possible |

Well I meant this website: https://p-bandai.com/us/item/N2697376001001?lang=en |

I think most people prefer using a Japanese store to save a bit of money; its useful for when you are multiple figures released across different months so you can bundle ship them together Buying off the PB website isn't that bad pricing wise if you are just getting one single item sporadically IMO |

I?m thinking of preordering Boost Mark-II from that site. |

Is anyone else not able to add earth garon to their cart on hobby genki?

Would have liked to see Earth Garon come with at least some energy effects, but once they confirmed he'll come with all his eye expressions including the one from yesterday's episode I had to have him. Already loved the design and personality behind the mech so it was an easy preorder.

I was already not a fan of this release because they didn't include her entry form parts like the male riders do and I'm not surprised at how her mold is not compatible.
I just hope that knowing that she can be pulled apart and has a removeable faceplate that Bandai might be doing another female Rider release or something along the lines of the Vail and Lovekov options set. I'll be ok with at least a female boost bottom mold and the other female DGP Riders' heads |

I think it’s good that Bandai was forward thinking enough to give themselves the option to do swappable parts for NaGo, but, also, I would not say it’s safe to bet on them doing any sort of swappable optional part release for NaGo.
A while ago, SH Figuarts released a dragon ball super version of armored Broly from the Broly movie. He had three swappable heads for his different forms, and all of them could have the face plate removed. However, it did not come with any extra face plates to swap out. As far as I know, Tamashii never released any extra faceplates for that set. So I’m guessing sometimes Tamashii will just give themselves a backdoor option for future upgrades even if there are no plans. |
