I've been following this and I'm not so sure about the new animation style. But then I read how it's more like the manga and not the original series, and the drawing style makes some sense in that context.

The short run though just pisses me right off. But that could be a test to see what ratings and such do.

I'm cautiously awaiting the new series. The new designs are very safe but what worries me is how much they're announcing it is closer to the manga.

Hello? The manga sucked. If it wasn't for the anime Sailor Moon would've gone absolutely nowhere. Usagi was a total self-centered bitch on universal level for the majority of the manga and the action scenes were just awful for the entirety of it and the writing was very confused very often. It was just absolutely not written well at all.

I am a huge fan of the anime and especially PGSM, but the manga does not deserve a closer adaption. I don't like hating Usagi, but if they keep her actions from the manga then I'll end up hating her again. I loved how aware of the fact that Princess Serenity was a total selfish bitch PGSM was, I'll be really disappointed if the anime goes back and glorifies her for no reason again.

Uh what? The manga is far superior to the anime because the manga actually had a plot. It did not spent 40 chapters just finding random monsters on rinse and repeat. There were little to no Monster of the Week in the manga.

And I disagree. The manga deserves a far more accurate adaptation because they have already done adaptations that were not manga accurate.

I agree with you I'm always fan over the manga of anime defently when it's sailor moon cause the anime gave to much monster a week and a filler arc and at the same time manga short I think 26 or so chapter can do all the chapter
