My one request is that they hire actors who actually ARE actors, not just models and people they picked up off the street.

Id like to hope that it will take cues from the MMPR series, will craft a decent teen based drama with decent special effects and be a cross between Pacific Rim and a show on the CW. Im sure a lot of people could tolerate/enjoy that.

Lets be honest, a fan pleasing (Meaning those of us in out 20s/30s) uber film that many of us would love to see this will not be, nor should it be. Its aimed at kids, let it be for kids.

Id also like zero involvement from any previous actor from the franchise. If you want to do a theatrical film, make it a seperate continuity, spend money on the FX and do it right.

If it happens to expose the regular TV show for the absolute lazy pile of shit it has been for the last 4 years mthen im all for that too.

Remember, Studio financing means this will not just be a Saban project

I hope they use squibs for the body sparks. When it's cgi you can tell how fake it is.

The only thing I´m praying for is...dont do the "Dark and Edgy ZOMG Adult Version" of Power Rangers. Remember what made the franchise special and dont throw that completely overboard with this movie.

Well, an MMPR reboot? Well okay, while I'm sick with all this stuff MMPR is getting, at least it might make the rangers popular again. And hopefully this isn't like a Sentai film where it's a dude in the Megazord costume, please no.

Now seeing the redesigns of the MMPR suits could work well and I can see them remodeling the Go-Buster suits to match a T-Rex and the rest.

honestly if this movie has to be about mmpr then i'd like it to be a connecting story to dc. or an adaptation of kyoryuger vs go-busters. i really don't want to just see the mmpr plot rehashed again. i'd also like to see at least one former ranger return as a cameo if it is a reboot movie, maybe like a teacher or something.

Maybe we get a full reboot with this and Dino Charge.

Now that I've had almost a day to think about this, or atleast a few hours, I'm excited. Maybe, maybe, this movie will be this giant apology for how bad some of Neo_Saban has been. Maybe this will make up for everything. Including Jayden's bowl cut!

Ever since I saw this news, I've been saying how Power Rangers has been it's best when it's doing it's own thing (in my opinion at least). In Space, Lost Galaxy, RPM, all fantastic series that owe very little to their sentai counter parts. Even the original movie is a fairly good example of this. My interest in this does die down with the thought that they are doing an MMPR reboot. Still, if they do their own thing, and don't get bogged down on "tradition" I think we could have something really neat on our hands.
