It is always up to the director to translate the story from pure words to visual and add flavor to it.
Also it is up to the main cameraman to assist and to capture the scene at its best.
There is no way to blame just one person for the whole project failure.

So #3 is to Kamen Rider what John Hurt is to Doctor Who.

So is Black going to be the rider pretending to be evil to help the evil empire only for it to turn out he was just acting as a spy the entire time?

I really hope not. that plot was bad during the first SHT, it was god awful during Kamen Rider Taisen and I don't want it to be the plot of this one.

The Rider vs Rider likely will be Drive vs the mysterious Rider 3, although the teaser indicates that he won't be a villain, so it might be a misunderstanding.

Black probably will be like W, Faiz or X in Kamen Rider Taisen, with a side story mostly unrelated to the main plot.

Sadly, I don't follow the Riders as religiously as others, but I do find this appealing on so many levels. RX gets a new form and a virtually unknown Rider created by the man behind the original Riders gets new love! A thought occurs: FIGURES!

I can't wait for him to casually fire on a civilian population and then, in the last 10 minutes, go "No, no, no, I'm totally the big hero of this movie! You all should be thanking me for what I've done, which is destroy buildings filled with people, fire in the streets filled with people running away, and lead an army of monsters that casually destroyed populated cities, all just to learn the main villain's secret identity. You're welcome."

Bringing a new "Showa" Rider to the screen is pretty awesome. I'm not a fan of him being Rider #3 and then being followed by V3 though, I don't like weird numbering anomalies like that. Reminds me of...

...yeah. Exactly that.

I'm a little wary, too, but if he's an actual Ishinomori character then I'm more willing to accept it (although that will probably balance out with casting that makes him another pretty-boy idol instead of an adult like all the other Showa Riders).
