Wouldn't they lose more sales and waste production time if they went and make 5 pack figuarts not knowing if it would pass there expected sales, and then go on and make individual figures in their own packaging?

You can't really go both ways with that method.

That's pretty bad business in all honesty. Why gamble on a five pack selling well instead of just releasing them all individually, or two single and the rest in two packs? Let's assume your five pack idea goes through, that is a probably $150-$200 set. Only die hard collectors of SHFs and that show will buy it. A casual fan won't nor will somebody who only likes the show a little bit, or somebody who only wants a few of the rangers. Packaging everything together isn't going to help move these things, it'll only shelfwarm more because of it's price tag and the fact that you have to buy the full team if you only want one or two, unless as I said you're a diehard fan of the show and love everybody in it or just must own every SHF ever created. It would be better to release them on their own so that it's easier for people to buy them, and then only, and I do mean only, offer a full pack of the team as some sort of special collector's thing like at SDCC or Morphicon.

the S.H.Figuarts collection book is out on the 31st (will probably leak early) and the summary mentioned it will reveal items for 2015 (But could just mean stuff we have already seen). could be the source of the information but that would only account for SHF listings not the SHMA or SIC.

This is what I was getting at. No way Bandai would release a second wave, individually of a team, after a full team release. Even if the full team sells well. Even if this was all TWE, some stuff would not sell well.

I dont care if the pre order is open for a year. Not everyone can save to afford it. Life comes before toylines.

As long as I get the full teams I don't care how they do it. However, Bandai has sucked the fun out of Sentai when it is a gamble if they are going to do the entire team or not. In fact, MegaRed sounds great, but I will only buy him after all of the other rangers are announced.

And anyone can afford to save money for the teams they really want. Hell, you don't even have to go to graduate high school anymore to make a living. You can drop out and work in fast food for the rest of your life and be paid $15 an hour. And with the low value of the Yen, that is less than 13 hours worth of work for a $200 pack (which will probably be more like $175).

Not necessarily. After all, Gaim Pine Arms DID just get a release nearly nine months after Orange Arms and a month and a half after the last retail form. Types Wild and Technique probably won't stray too far from that pattern.

Gaim was also releasing a different character every month. The situation is a little different in a 2/3 Rider show.

...You're aware that that SDCC exclusive Samurai pack that came out over a year ago is still sitting on BBTS even with a huge mark down and that Shinken Red is still shelf warming even now right?

In fact I think Dragon Ranger is the only non exclusive that hasn't at one point...
