For the same reason Wolverine hangs out with innocent young teenage girls. They're opposites. They're foils for each other. Pure innocence paired with hardened cynicism is always an interesting juxtaposition.

Are Koguma and Ohguma forms going to require two different Kyutamas?

Curious as to how they'll handle a kid hero - I haven't seen Dairanger and ToQger mostly doesn't count - but I'm bummed that it's another male. Would a little gender balance kill this series? (Then again, we still don't know how they'll handle a cast this size.)

I could honestly see it go either way. A suit+voice actor would probably be easier for them to do, but if they did that we'd have more suited rangers than human (looking) ones. Plus having a kid that looks human would probably be more relatable to the audience, which I imagine is one of the main reasons they'd do a kid ranger in the first place. Hard to say though.

From the looks of it yes. He uses the standard seiza blaster like the main 9 and they stated in the scan that he uses ohguma to grow big so I dont think we will have something like Para-DX's gashat.
Ohguma is not a power-up but more like a booster kyutama in that it gives him an ability but not power him up like Kyoryu Red Carnival or Hyper ToQ 1 from the looks of it.

It would be nice to have another girl but if there was three or more girls on one sentai team the universe would implode and we can't have that, don't you know marketing.
But no with a cast that big the idea of only a two girl max is just dumb and seems pointless really it might hurt the show if the cast keeps growing to let's say 14 members and only one seventh apposed to most modern series were the main cast was one third female. Honestly if either Yellow was a girl I think it wouldn't hurt toy sales at all since on they are already selling a pink Mech by itself and a main Robo having two out of its' five mech being pilot by girls is nothing new.

Anyway aside from that complaint I do like how the toy line is shaping up and seeing every mech getting a ranger is always cool to me as long as they don't leave the keys to Red for no reason and having a team that is already tied for largest sentai team by Q2 is awesome

Since Koguma Blue is going to be Sasori Orange's Partner, I assume their relationship will be like Older Brother and Younger Brother relationship

Sasori Orange is going to be very cynical and he is the Anti-Hero of the group. So he is partnered with a young boy?

I wonder if their relationship is going to be similar to Batman and Robin?

I think it's a neat way to work in the Ursa major/minor into the ranger's power set.

That photo of the two mecha combine is ugly and lazy. It just feels cheap that the other mecha is just a backpack what a crappy idea.

I am not impress at all with the mecha.
