I'm not too bothered by the change, to be honest. They wanted the Riders to pull off a bad ass pose immediately upon transformation, but it would be a little awkward to have Kenzaki run about 10 feet forward to just transform. It doesn't follow Blade's rules concerning how his belt works, but it's not too major a departure. |
This was the perfect finale. I loved how they carried over the ending of Blade with Kazuma becoming a Joker over to Gorider. The parts where they actually became the Goriders were amazing. The silliness of it all with the suits, ball, roll call just made it so fun to watch.

My favorite part was when Ex-Aid fist bumps Kaito and does it a bit too hard with Kaito just saying, "I'll get you back for that."
That being said if you told me back when Gaim started that Kaito Kumon of all people would lead a Sentai Team, I would have laughed. |

...You know, even if there wasn't all this praise for the series already, I'd have to watch this just to see Kaito being in what I think would be a good place for him.
Like, legit, Kaito's basically a classic badass red in personality, just with some serious emotional problems. |

Man, I never get tired of watching Dan chew the scenery. But yeah, that was such a fun little crossover. Emu basically used a New Game + to win, which is very amusing to me. I'll even admit, as much of a non-Blade fan that I am, using the lore of the series as a plot twist was great. I mean jeez, if Undeads didn't have reflections I think everyone would have caught onto Hajime a lot faster!
