Man we already had a Kamen Rider Lance and even Spear. I wonder if we have a Lance Rider shat are they gonna call it. Maybe Kamen Rider Naginata?

But he isn’t. Based on how they celebrated the 40th anniversary with OOO and Fourze, it’s the Rider after Sabre that will be the 50th anniversary series.

Judging by that situation, Saber will get episodes dedicated to the anniversary and an entire spring movie...


Heck, looking at Ghost/Ex-Aid; Ex-Aid was not considered an anniversary at all and just made it so that its winter movie had more legend riders. Everything points towards Saber at worst having multiple anniversary elements; and considering it's going to be airing during the -actual 50th anniversary date-, I think we'll see a lot.

Hopefully they'll follow in Ghost's footsteps and give us an even thiccer Ichigo suit.

I do hope Saber manages to be its own thing seperate from the anniversary elements. Like, we just had Zi-O, and while Zi-O was good, two series in 3 years with the same driving philosophy could feel very repetetive. Going the OOO route seems sensible.

That is the one worry I had throughout all of Zi-O. They went all out on an anniversary; they got back a ridiculous amount of returning actors few thought possible... but the 50th was literally right around the corner.

What Kurona said, plus Saber is in its middle during April, which is when the anniversary is going to be celebrated.

Also I doubt they're doing another Zi-O, at most it will be like Fourze, where previous Kamen Riders are acknowledged but the series mostly stands alone.

You know..... It got me thinking. If Saber's gimmick is indeed swords, maybe the Legend Rider items will be based on previous Riders' swords, like Drive did with Legend Rider Signal Bikes.

That's gonna be brutal.

It's like Crossbone Gundam. Or even like that Expandables 2 where Jean Claude Van Damme kicks a knife to a guy's chest.

Here's a thought. What if Kamen Rider Saber turns out to be in essence GARO for children?
