I relate to this comment so much. I frown every time I am reminded of this. I really thought there was nothing that could make me consider DCD's Nega World arc more kindly, but here we are, these specials made that happen.

Nice to have some official confirmation from Inoue! So the "Pseudo-True Sougo" manifested from Basketball Sougo's timeline, not Sougo A's. I guess Aruto must have mortally wounded Basketball Sougo in their offscreen fight, forcing him to become a remodified human. And then something else happened that turned the rest of humanity in to remodified humans. Intriguing!

This just kinda makes stuff more confusing since R:TFG undoes all the time distortion. Unless this is an alternate alternate R:TFG where Sougo and Aruto fail to stop Another Ichigo and launch Zea.

Wait does that mean the Sougo from the Reiwa movie was the robot Sougo or is he just another random robot from that timeline?

I’m probably in the camp that likes these specials. Mostly because I wasn’t expecting anything majorly groundbreaking or deep. Not to mention both halves do feel like the shows they represent.
