It's very reminiscent of the Chinese Armor Heroes for me, but with the addition of Toei lore. I'd also venture to guess that if Red is Gavan, and White is Poitrine, then Black is Kagestar, Blue is Inazuman or Kikaider, and Green is Kamen No Rider or something similar (I don't know how much they'll risk playing with the current show)

The suit looks pretty cool in the teaser, I like how they captured the iconic reflective look of the heroes of the Space Sheriff trilogy in a more modern form. Also, judging by all the elemental attacks in the teaser the elemental themed heroes rumor is definitely holding water.

I'm glad Gavan's helmet design is still intact.

The helmet and the rest of the suit is indeed slightly different from Gavan and Gavan Type G.

I suppose the design decisions, like the red paint job, wouldn't have been much of a discussion topic had Sharivan and Shaider been named to something to the effect of "Gavan [insert cool-sounding word here]" much like Kamen Rider V3 or Black. I guess, given how simple the original Gavan's silhouette is, that the design elements such as the helmet design and color scheme are what make Gavan, well, "Gavan" for lack of better words. Probably why Gavan Bootleg wasn't discussed to this degree, at least as far as I can remember, for retaining as much of the iconography that resembles Gavan while doing its own thing.
Anyhoos, looking forward to the full suit design.

Well, it should be stated that this teaser being streamed on the Toei Tokusatsu World YouTube page definitely confirms Toei's plan to simulcast it. Question now is who will pick it up for distribution.
