I just saw this, and it completely made my day. This one of my first manga/anime series ever, way back when. It may be a long shot, but if they are repurposing the ever so awesome sculpts of the bio-fighter collection, we might get more than just Guyvers 1 and 2. I'm literally giddy right now.

This is my first figma Saber. I purchased her off of ebay for a steal, but there's always a reason, isn't there? I highly suspect that the figure might be a knock-off. A high quality knock-off, but still still a knock-off. Some of the joints are either too tight or not tight enough. The figure had flash in several different areas, including the back of the head, affecting the fit of the faces and hair pieces. Mismatched hair color and the stand was so poorly assembled and made of a plastic that's more brittle than the norm.

The quality of the plastic of the figure is on par with the rest of the figmas I own, but it still raises some flags. Are these issues common among this mold, or are my fears to be believed?

The figure was originally a pack-in with the special edition of the Fate / Unlimited Codes fighting game for the PS2. I own a known legit copy of the figure and.. well, on one hand I don't recall it having any of the issues you mention.. on the other hand, I don't handle the figure regularly enough to say for sure if I would've noticed it unless it was really, really bad.

On the other other hand, the limited nature of the figure would make it ripe pickings for KOs. But I don't think it was ever really that rare.

Got my payment request for Samus and Link. Sadly I have £3 to my name until Thursday. I adore AmiAmi right now though as I have until the 2nd to pay so thats all good and it's £43 for the pair of them shipped. Yeah.. I get them both and save a tenner! Boom!

Yep, just sent my payment for Samus. It's about time; I still don't understand how a rerelease can be delayed unless they just weren't producing them fast enough.

Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to Samus... whenever she gets here in the next 3-4 weeks.

They are pretty durable. Obviously it varies, as some of the things I make are very small/thin, but you'd have to try to break them. I've dropped some and abused them accidentally before and I haven't actually broken one yet.

Prices vary from around $7 up to $30+.

They ship anywhere.

When I'm not drowning in pre-orders, I'll definitely need to order a few.

I remember someone here was looking for the KOS-MOS figma, but can't seem to find the original post.

Ever since I purchased T-Elos I've been on the look out for her.

Are the covers for Samus' hip joint covers supposed to be two different parts? I think mine might have two left covers since the right leg doesn't seem to sit properly and pops off the ball joint really easily.

Just saw the Spider-Man figma and thinking of preordering it.

The only figma I have is Gai but he cost like 1500yen on Mandarake, what I want to ask is do the prices of figmas increases much after release?

I know that it mostly depends on popularity, but, in general do they usually increase much.

What's the general consesnsus on the Monogatari figmas?

I haven't bought any because of the weird side glance most of them have, and because I would probably try to go all completionist on the lines.

But the last few months I have considered time and time again to get at least one of them.

Lack of Shinobu is truly maddening, they should make another wave of Monogatari figmas, they have introduced many more characters and most of the original cast has new hairstyles, so they could redo those too.

Does anyone have any experience with GSC's customer care? My girlfriend just got her Okabe in the post and the left elbow joint snapped pretty much right out the box.

I've heard good things about GSC replacing parts so we've shot them an email, I was just wondering if anyone had any first hand experience.

I didn't even notice Epona anywhere else. Huh. Doesn't look like there's any articulation cuts so a statue of a horse doesn't interest me too much.

But then there's what disappoints me most. Ryuko. I should have expected that version of her. The regular sailor uniform version I might have considered... but that version of Senketsu is just too skimpy for a shelf of mine.

Been a long time since I last saw Fate/Stay and I never watched Zero, so those Figmas look good, but I can pass on them. Don't really know anyone else, other than Thor, but as Japan constantly proves they can't sculpt human faces for shiiiiiiiiiit.
