Hmmmmmmmm, how is the quality? Are they using the DVDs and are the subs actually good or those piss poor translations TV Nihon did 12 years ago?

Glad to see they are in MKV form though. I hate having burned in subs.

I don't know about the subs, I haven't checked them myself. I'm waiting to see if they release the scripts since I already have the Bunny Hat Raws. It'd be extremely difficult for them to not be better than TVN, though.

Going by the filesize they appear to be using the HD raws released by GuSTaVauM earlier this month, so video quality should be no issue at least.

edit: Ok so it took like 4 hours but I downloaded episode 4 just to compare (since that was the episode that made me drop TVN's release). I really just skimmed to some of the parts I remember being most egregiously mistranslated, and can confirm these subs are much more competently made. Which again, wouldn't take a lot considering what it's being compared to, but still. Looks solid.

I just hope they can finish the other half.

Am I the only one who has really started to hate this genmcorp subgroup? Their subs are AWFUL and all the sites that host things online like jatoku and kissasian insist on using them, rather than waiting for overtime to do a proper job.

Yes. To be fair, it was among their first work and from what I've heard they have massively improved over time. I can't tell if that's true or not since I never watched anything they did after and try to avoid their subs wherever I can.

It's not even the "Banana New Shoe"-kinda stuff that upsets me, it's the stupid graphics behind the fonts, the confusing mindset of leaving Japanese phrases and honorifics intact and, of course, using unnecessary rude words just to be edgy.

And I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff here because I tried my best to not think about TVN's Den-O subs ever again.

yikes I didn't know they were that bad. I'm pretty sure those are what I have. (I haven't gotten to Den-O yet in my viewing order.)

Maybe (hopefully) by the time I get there Live-Ozc will be finished with Den-O.

Found out today that Midnight Crew's site has gone offline. They haven't done anything but re-re-re-release the first 25 episodes of Kuuga in years, but I'm still sad to see the site go down. They really only did the one project, but it was huge when they finally broke the Kuuga Curse all those years ago. I remember the excitement when they were putting out multiple episodes on an almost daily basis.

Shushutto Subs has completed their version of Hibiki, including the last 19 episodes that you should never, ever watch.

Once the DVD is released, it usually takea a couple of weeks for it to be subbed, since it has to be worked on alongside the usual weekly shows. But yeah, it'll be out in October or so.

Anybody have any idea how long it takes for fansub groups to release batch downloads? Now that Build is finished, I want to watch it, but I don't want to download individual episodes...

I'm not sure about Overtime or any other group but TV-Nihon usually do so very, very slowly over the course of a rather long period of time due to the fact that they include pretty much everything associated with the show. The episodes, the movies, the specials, and even the commericals that aired during the shows run. I don't think they'll start making episodes batches for a while.

That's disappointing. I like TV-N because, as somebody trying to learn Japanese, they tend to go with more of a 1-1 translation...but man I don't want all the extra crap that they include.

I guess I'll just go with whoever releases one first.

Depending on the torrent programme you use just before you press download you can in rock the boxes on the files that you don’t want to download they want get downloaded

Here's something I just posted: the Kamen Rider Black series is available in HD, but the only versions of the movies out there that I could find were standard def. I transcribed the Century Kings movie scripts into separate standalone subtitle files so if you have access to the HD videos of the movies, you can now watch them with subtitles. Someone has already released scripts for all the rest of the series, but I couldn't find any scripts for the movies, so I posted these.

OZC Live has finished scrubbing Den-O

Is there any place to stream the ex-aid another ending trilogy as well as the other movies, because kissasian only has the godawful order of zeronos subs and they should just stop subbing, they suck at it and should never have started.

Did some clean-up to remove a bunch of minor dead projects and to add acknowledgement of OZC, which has apparently done their own versions of a ton of shows I was unaware of.

If there's anything I'm missing, please let me know and I'll add it to the list.

Order of Zeronos only did the first film. Which can easily be skipped without missing much.

Posted a small update to reflect the x-citing news that The Masked Subber has completed subbing Kamen Rider X. And with that, we now have every Kamen Rider series from the Showa era fully subbed.

Very nice, it's about time I watch some Showa again!
