Wow. Just wow. I'm a huge fan of Toriyama-san's work and style and things that have been inspired by it, but this? I know his characters tend to look similar, and that he sometimes reuses designs entirely (Dabura – Dragonball, Reonald – Cowa!, Satan – Sandland) but this blond chick is a complete carbon-copy from Dragon Quest V's Bianca. Freeza gets killed by Goku and his body vanishes completely. After the ending credits, he is in hell and surrounded by cute stuffed animals and fairies again, and then the movie ends with his screaming "Nooooooooooooo!!!" in English.

Whis fights during a training of Goku and Vegeta. Beerus never does.

Do any of Freeza's soldiers survive?
The Z warriors take them down without killing them, but Freeza kills them off all himself.

DBZ needs to have depth though. It can't just be mindless action even though the brainless fans want it to be. Battle of Gods had a good original story and didn't rehash stuff like Lord Slug, Super 13 and Return of Coola did. Not to mention Beerus had personality and a good backstory while the other older DBZ movie villains never did in my opinion

I agree. This seem like like other said. Given the action on,y film. Due they did not like depth story that battle of gods had.

If those blue-haired versions of Vegeta and Goku are their new formes then I bet the next one(if there is one) will have them have SSJ3 hair of a different color. Green or Orange maybe?

I'm still exited to see this film. Even if it's just a whole lot of action, at least it's more DBZ. Though I do hope that the next film will focus more on the other God's and give back story to that side of the DBZ universe.

The two things that do excite me to see this movie are Freeza and Jaco.

With all this talk on the new movie. I want to just dragon ball hero card game would make for a great anime. I mean toei could literally have cool new dragon ball anime that can help them even more to sell the hero game.

Are we really sure this thing isn’t just a big joke and it's really "Dragonball AF - The Movie"?

I don't like the idea behind this, but I don't hate how it looks. Weird how I feel about this in total then.

From what I've read from the movie's summary that the blue hair form is a new form where Goku can combine his Super Saiyan God and normal Super Saiyan powers into one. I do agree that Blue Hair Goku does look like AF fan art. I do remember seeing a similar looking image from over a decade when I was in middle school.

Gonna have to agree there. Mastered Super Saiyan, while it looks cool doesn't have a cool concept behind it.
