And Volume Two continues to raise the bar. Is it just me or does it seem that the writers are slowly fading out the wacky volume one comedy in exchange for a more grim and serious tone?

Today's ep may have been mostly setup, but it is undeniably intriguing.

Saw episode 1 of Volume 2, laughed my ass off during the team JNPR vs team RWBY food fight scene :lol.

So that new episode... anyone else get a little emotional by that ending?

I kinda did... I felt some thing like was missing, but yea a small bit of feelz crept it's way in at the end.


Also we seriously need to see more team JNPR and the rest of Sun's team... I wanna see how cool Scarlet is in action.

Nice ep, a great blend of plot, action and humor.

And Yang's new outfit is amazing.

Just caught up Good episodes and the twist while good to see it come out, was pretty obvious. love the civie clothes though.

I absolutely loved the designs. (Especially Ruby's in particular. >_>)

I liked them and hopefully we see more of them

They more or less look the same...I don't know any civilians who wear capes.

And, I'm caught up! Had quite a blast with these new episodes, they're often hilarious and the character interactions are great.

I loved the newest episode, Sun is so much fun lol. He's my favorite for a reason. Poor Jaune though. I love the new outfits and intrigued about Weiss's sister. I am very intrigued with Penny but have been for a while. Also loved Ruby and Penny, I also relate a lot to Ruby.

Well I don't remember much of Volume 1. :lol Honestly I can't recall that at all, I guess I'll have to rewatch it sometime.

Yeah I watched everything a couple times within the last couple weeks.

That new episode of RWBY was great. Loved the fight scene and team RWBY's combination attacks.

Plot is happening! Penny's story continues and the meeting was really cool too.
And of course, awesome fight scene.

So far so good.

I love how they used the fans shipping names for their combination attacks lol. Hey Neptune's weapon actually has a close range form too, that's awesome. I didn't like that Sun and Neptune got knocked out so early but still that was great. I hope we see Penny again soon too. Weiss at the end was great with her joke.

I like how Neptune's weapon had 3 modes: gun, naginata, and Trident (last one makes sense).
